Nice work 👍
Super cool, thanks. I already ordered the parts and will copy your setup!
Great idea with the glass jar pressure pot for the abrasive. Well done!
Very nice! I need a similar chamber like this, only for dust-free applications
Love your setup. If you remake a new chamber/box you may take a look at cabinets for dental work. They are small units made from shelving material and a glass top with a hinge. Rather than gloves, my shop uses jean material with an elastic that hugs your wrist as a seal. Also, the air nozzle is stationary so you wave the part around it with both hands. Nice looking build.
Awesome video and project! I really enjoyed the "I had a problem, tried solution 1, that led to new idea and solution 2" and so on. So much to learn from your videos. (I'm also looking for your mill videos :)
Muy buena la solución y lo mejor es el reemplazo de la boquilla (nozzle) y quedó de mayor caudal de flujo de arena y presión, felicidades y saludos cordiales desde Chile 🇨🇱👍😎
Ahh great stuff, I'll just go and order some brass and wheel out the old lathe....👍
Very clever loved the video, I've just made a cabinet by using a old kitchen sink boxed in and the bottle trap has had the 2" holes for the waste water blocked off so that when I pull out the plug the aluminium oxide can go down the plug hole in the bottle trap you then unscrew the trap and empty it and reuse it after sieving it,I have it built into a worktop in the man cave it has dust extraction a LED long bathroom strip light above the sink area and the holes for your hands are made out of 4" PVC pipe connection from Toolstation they cost around £2.00 each, the door for accessing the inside is a fold down ( like a kitchen draw only it fold down) with foam weather door seal with small clamps Similar to the one used hear only a lot smaller the glass is a old double glaze piece set into the top after cutting a length of ply to the full length of the sink + drain board as this is the length of the cabinet and then routed a rebate put clear silicone in the rebate then place the glass on top (all sealed ) then finish it off with architrave so no dust problems! Just a idea for anyone with a old kitchen sink.👋

Great solution, thanks for idea
Thanks, I found this film very helpful. Firstly in seeing the principles of sandblasting clearly explained - and secondly helping me to realise that those small cheap sand blasters aren't very effective without a lot of modification! For me (not having a metal lathe to hand) I think it would be better to buy a bigger one!

Hello. Genius what you do in section # 3. Is it possible to buy the parts for rebuilding and what is the price incl. shipping to Denmark ??
What was the air pressure you were using and was it the same from video start to finish?
Perfect job!!! What are the dimensions of the box ?

amirul asri original is 0.5mm i think, i order one from ebay cerramic 0,8mm and drill it to 1mm with diamond drill (not drill, something like conus grinder with diamond dust on it for dremel and other tool)
hello what features does the compressor you use?

Basic 24liter compressor, preassure set to about 2-3bar.
Would you be willing to make more of these custom parts and sell them? I’ve recently purchased one of these sandblasters but as you show in the video, it is lacking.

Pierre Sébastien Petiot thanks, with "bucket" you mean nozzle? It's not ok, as i say it work for a few minutes than becom 2mm size. I bougt a ceramick nozzle 0,8mm size on ebay.de and than drill it with diamond drill to 1mm works good so far but with preasure max 3bar.

Garrett McElroy No problem, otherwise i can make you a few nozzle from brass or iron from 0,5-1,5mm but it won't work for long time, i got best result with 0,8-1mm nozzle.
That's a lot of work bro anyway to contact you?

Was that a 3D printed part you sandblasted? Have you tried sandblasting 3d prints? I've seen a few forum posts promoting this idea, was wondering on Air eraser vs "regular sandblasting gun"... if you have any experience to share, I would greatly appreciate it :)

yeah for you. I hate videos that are about improving a product but only if you have access to a certain specialized skill set or tools. I'll just go by a lathe and learn how to use it so I can make a new nozzle. ....Lame.
