House tour continued and a story about our builder. My mom is partially blind and a widow. She bought this house herself over 20+ years ago on a single income. She worked overtime and all her sweat and tears went into this house.
My brothers are disabled. We barely make ends meet. The builder decided we would be the only house in the neighbourhood not to get an air conditioner included in the cost of the house. I think that personally is sick. I don't think some people have a heart.
I was able to remediate the situation years later through negotiation with the manufacturer. I'm not sure who created the rules or standards on selling and building new homes but this makes me upset that someone could do that.
I go through some of the other items in our home. We live in a disorganized mess as life has been chaotic here in Canada.
