As a Canadian, and as an avid flier with Air Canada. This is a very well done Safety Video. Classy, Elegant, and Subtle. A very warm and inviting tone, which truly speaks to Canadian Hospitality. If you have not flown on an Air Canada 787. You are in for a treat when you do.

Floor lighting and smoke detectors in washrooms on board aircrafts were required because of a fire on Air Canada flight 797 in 1983'so Air Canada made flying even safer

I love the fact that this actually plays on the screens on board the plane so the flight attendants don't have to demonstrate how to fasten a seat belt or put on an oxygen mask, something Air Canada Jazz and Air Canada Express have to do due to the lack of screens

I feel it happens more on bigger planes like the 787, because it would to have a flight attendant every in every aisle and having everyone able to see. As they have flight attendants, but not enough to demonstrate to everyone.

Same, I think Air Canada actually meant to include a gay couple and it was noticeable.

My dad is an Air Canada pilot and he is currently flying the 787, in my opinion I do like the music in the other safety video better, but I love the 787 cabin, so all I want is the old music back.

Thats great for your dad, gain as much flight hours as you can with the 787. The 787 will be a hit in the long run. Composite material long range twin engine planes are the future, the A380 and big multi engine passenger planes belong in the history books.

so, #AirCanada, is there a reason why the pattern of Eng-Fr Fr-Eng Eng-Fr Fr-Eng changes in the middle of the video? When the topic moves to the emergency exits, then it's Eng-Fr Eng-Fr. Only when the topic moves on to the oxygen masks does it return to the original pattern. Editing oversight? Or is there something about the emergency exit info that led to the pattern change?

If by the old safety video, you mean the one with the boy at the beginning, that one was made in an A320. The new one is displayed in A320 ACs now, but the new one is made in a Boeing 787(800). I like both of the safety videos.

It lacks warmth, but I like the gay couple touch.
