Air Canada A320 Economy Trip Report from EWR to YYC Flying Air Canada’s Oldest Aircraft
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Flying Air Canada oldest plane an almost 32 year old A320 formerly operated by Canadian airlines. Was definitely a nice flight featuring there old interior with the blue seats and thooth past livery giving it an almost throwback experience. These 32 year old airbus A320s will nit be around much longer so glad to have given them another shot back to my home airport in Calgary!
We also explore how the A320s compare to the 737 maxs which will replace it.
We also get what will be my last flight through Newark EWR old terminal A which is soon to be replaced by the new terminal A
Registration C-GPWG
Takeoff Newark EWR ( beautiful views of the New York City Skyline )
Landing Calgary YYC
Seat 19 A
Date Recorded October 10 2022 ( on my 16th birthday trip with the LH 747-400 SQ A380 and AC 737 max )

The A320-211 is my all time favourite plane
Took this flight in June 2022, to Calgary then back home to Vancouver, no complaints
Emmmm, I just checked our aircraft for our Ewr to Yyc flight on 4/4/2024. I am actually happy to fly a 30 year plus old A320 over the 737 right now!
EQ~ yo did gorgeous job. =)
Excellent video and AC 548/549 is usually the YVR-based B787-8/-9s A220/ A320 AC584/585 YYC-EWR and the E190 from Air Canada is either Newark to Toronto or Montreal. Back then Air Canada used to offer B1900 Allentown to Toronto since EWR and Lehigh Valley airport are on I-78
00:25 actually Terminal A was the newest ... and yes the whole airport is getting renewed ... I worked at this Terminal for 10 years now I'm at LGA for 3 years ..... great video 👍 I wanna fly to Montreal... thought about driving but undecided
Lots of them were retired but returned back to service in new livery
They’re not gone just yet. A bunch of them are now with Jetz
Let me guess? a YYZ or YUL crew? Avoid at all consumer cost. I do only fly AC but know in advance
great video. Is air canada strict with 23kg baggage weight or they will let you 1-2kg over. How is the customer service

Very hit or miss and depends on the flight, from past experience they are very strict in Toronto more so than other places in terms of baggage so probably better safe than sorry. There customer service is also very hit or miss have had some of my best and worst experience with them they are very inconsistent. Always expect the worst and hope for the best with them.

@@eqplanes but did you check in a bag. What was it weight? Was it overweight?

@@eqplanes did you check in a bag. Do they weigh with lbs or kgs measurements. If kg you will get 2 extra pounds free. Since 23.6kg is 52 pou D's.
