Just a question since the guy wants to get into design role, so which psu should he join? Also since he is running away from a factory role, I think he is having very limited choices(if none) as most of the psus have a similar factory esque working conditions. I am not belittling the job as I am too engaged in one and love it what may but in recent years the newer graduates have had this misconception of work. As they say real engineering happens at the workshop floor in India. So running away from a blue collar factory role doesn't solve it. Better do an mba if you looking for cozy offices and city posting.

he was working in jhon deere, at the time of placement i think his package was 11 lpa something, so he was definetly earning PSU level, so we can understand from this that he wants a better choice like design
