Sorry folks, I made a mistake talking about my gear. The fixed spool reel is a Penn Clash 2 3000. Tight lines 🎣🎣

As a second career, I fished commercially with rod and line for 15 years, no doubt visiting all the wrecks you fish. There is much I could say to you about the wrecks and your methodology, whilst not wishing to spoil your fun! One wreck in particular, within your range always fished well for decent cod in May and June, but absolute precision was needed to locate the cod on a certain part and then only on the flood tide. Perhaps one day I will see you on your boat at KIngsbridge, which I visit frequently. If I do I will make myself known to you and talk wrecks and fishing! If there is one piece of advice I could give you now. Please discipline yourself not to strike when lure fishing, just keep winding! You will not miss many like that! All the best, I enjoy the videos, keep them coming!

Good to see plenty of Pollack on the wrecks even if they are not big. I wonder if that is because they have probably not been netted out this year? Thanks for another good one 👍

You have really nailed pouting bashing are you using a secret bait perhaps? An ancient pouting dance before sailing? Whatever it is it's highly effective well done keep it up

They are Trispoterus Luscus, pouting, pout, scotch haddock, blegg or bib and probably many other local names. 👍
