India is ruled by Indian Constitution. Shariyat has nothing to do here.

Constitution is more important than any personal laws...... Look at all the countries that had blindly followed Shariah law... Still people don't learn.

UCC should be started ASAP so that the time of the Supreme court is not wasted.

Indian constitution gives right of Personal Law. Waqf Board should use their redources to help dovorced women. Also Government can make fund available for all divorced women.

I support Muslim personal law. All Modi/ bjp law. If Rahul become pm he clearly told, food & religion is there choices. So shariya must implement in there civil & personal matter. ,& criminal matter must be by Indian constitution law. Jai Rahul gandhi/ congress

Polygamy should be banned in India for all citizens irrespective of religion. Pakistan has already done that.

That is why you were given separate country to do whatever you want....when you are here, follow the constitution....

How, a single divorce can take away all rights from her family in the name of religion. 05) In neighbouring Pakistan, all religious laws have been abolished in 1962. Why India should lag behind?

We congress reject this. Our manifesto says, food & religion there choice. We support shariya for personal law & civil matter also. Only Muslim will follow criminal law of india

4:30 The 3 months is not enough time to get out of emotional trauma and get on the feet.... Considering how many women are forced to quit their studies for marriage u need to pay the consequences. Good move atleast from the fear of having to lose money they will send them to educate.

When we review the shariah law in family life, there can not be a blanket law to enforce similar rules. The different aspects regarding marriage and divorce should be taken into account. 1. Dowry should be banned for all religions. 2, the Mehr to be given to the bride should be fixed according to the financial capacity of the groom. 3. If the woman is an earning member of the family, no maintenance will be given to her. 4. The maintenance for the children should be upon the father. 5. Must verify if the husband had gifted any property or lots of jewellery to his wife. This is because he can not take it back when he divorces her. 6. Last but not least, a gift of a reasonable amount should be given to his wife if he is divorcing her, when she has not received any wealth from him earlier. 7. If monthly maintenance for life is the rule, desertion of wives and living in relationships will increase, which is haram in Islam
