Aikido techniques make the most of your opponent's power. I throw it with the power of the other party When a person uses his power against the other person, he does not know what vector and strength he used. Aikido makes the most of such power At first glance, you may think it's a fake, but it's not until you've been tricked that you know it's not a fake. At that time, it was too late for me to stab my weapon in my back, or stab my chest or neck with my own hands. However, the essence of Aikido is to be the same as the feelings of the other person. It's the same, it's not even the enemy, it's blending in. .Governing things peacefully is the ultimate form of Aikido that lies ahead of us. Five Principles of Ki Aikido 1 I'm feeling 2 Know the heart of the other person 3 Respect the other person's spirit 4 Stand in the position of the other party 5 Leading plight (Act on your own before others) 🙆 Four major principles of mental and physical unification 1) Keep your heart in one point under the navel and unify 2) Completely relax the power of the whole body 3) Put the weights of all parts of the body at the bottom 4) Be careful

At 0:46, he doesn't even touch her. WTF? I love aikido, but this sort of thing is why it has a bad reputation. She threw HERSELF.

So you think in a demonstration the guy should have hit the girl, like literally? Or can it be that it is demonstrated here, that if the girl won’t fall, she would be hit? You decide!

There are some great youtube videos of mma athletes (i avoid the word "fighter") practising and sparring with aikidokas in a profesional and friendly way and mutually learning from eachother. but i guess you mean you want two people, a non competetive martial artist and a competetive sportsfighter, to beat the shit out of eachother, right? because you just cant deal with it that a non violent martial art actually can deal and control violent guys. we have a word for people like you, it starts with a "t" and ends with "hugs"... let me know when you figured it out...

@@hobowithawaterpistol9070 I think, maybe, that in any kind of real, physical fight or confrontation, I'd feel safer with someone who, on a regular basis, had to deal with real, physical fighting and/or confrontation. Yes, we live in a world where firearms are potentially going to be a deadly possible factor, but if you're going to devote years of your life to training in a martial art do yourself a favor & don't lie to yourself about your abilities. Any real attacker isn't going to cooperate and/or try to make you look good, or make the techniques look beautiful. I have trained in Aikido, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to defend his or her self, the randori was fun but it was nothing close to reality outside the dojo. Some martial arts put more emphasis on the art than the martial aspect, Aikido's definitely one of them.

I am sorry, this is the result of useless training. Aikidoka culture has destroyed Aikido techniques, making them useless.
