Awwwwww, Yeah!! My grandsons would love this in their yard, their Dad is an engineer for CN!! And he has plowed the drifts at 55 mph, BAM, BOOM!!

I wish I started one 40 years ago!! LOVE IT!!!!!

Imagine if they decide to sell the house and be like "Oh yeah there is a railway passing through the backyard..."

Good plowing snow, it actually threw off instead of just pushing up. Very nice.

That’s cool, looks really good in the powder snow. I admire a Man who isn’t afraid to run his 1000 dollar plus G scale trains around in the snow. I think you should build a Russell with wings that run off a servo to clear that double track. Thanks for sharing!

We use 18V DC, up to 15 amps depending on the number of locomotives running. Summer, winter rain or snow, no issues.

Was built by "Aristocraft". They went under a number of years back. You still see them for sale on Ebay.

The plow was made by Aristocraft. They have been out of business for many years.

Track is a brass alloy, When the temperature is sub-zero, there's no rust. When the equipment is brought in for the day, I blow it clean and dry with compressed air.

Current ebay Canadian replacement prices- Plow-$150 (if you can find one), Locomotive-$550 each, Caboose-$170, Track $8/ft x 400ft, Power pack, radio remote controllers, etc. $$$$$
