Holey means river. What does the Ai mean? English is phonetically a pathetic language! "Hole" is is like hole in the ground. Don't know why they can't write the name as Aiholey...and oh, the L is pronounced differently. There are two Ls in Kannada Tamil and some other languages! Huli means tiger but huli with the retroflexed L means tamarind!

We South Indians resent Hindi being pushed down our throats. Let's face it...English is now a universal language even in India.

World needs to know more about the greatness of India's ancient past in their own language. The universal language foreigners know is "English.” There are other channels that have made documentaries on the above subject in as many languages. "Negativity” and unnecessary "narrow mindedness” destroys that bridge to connect with other people with whom we share this wonderful planet of diversity. 🙏
