I love comments like these. Gets the nostalgia levels high. I'm 31 and from the UK. Saw these guys live in 2006 at download festival. Was at the front with 20,000 people behind in the snickers tent. People laughed when they came out and booed. Everyone cheered and applauded when they finished that set and smashed it!

I had a hawthorne heights cd that i bought in 2007 and it came with a dvd. It had a bunch of music videos on it and this was on it before the music video it was a short interview with Wil and the bassist i think. I fell in love with aiden. Been one of my favorite bands for years besides AFI.

I still remember the lyrics by heart and these days.. I'm a Metalhead who listens to Viking and Power Metal (as well as other Metal genres and subgenres) Once in awhile though, I come back to a time when I was just getting into darker themed rock songs and then Metal music. I eventually "discovered" older bands like Black Sabbath, the big 4 in Thrash, Dio, Motorhead, Judas Priest, etc. "The Last Sunrise" though was one of those songs that lead down this path 😅. I grew up in a family that likes hip hop, rap, and pop (& Filipino music because we're Filipino) so I was very late to these genres. I remember waking up in the middle of night or waking up for school. To my TV tuned to MTV. And bands like Story of The Year, Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, and of course Aiden etc.. It opened my world and mind to more than what my family liked and played. It gave me a more diverse and eclectic ear for music. Now I listen to a lot. Being raised in a family that loves hip hop, we love to dance. I'm one of those. You can take me the club. I'll dance my ass off. Then take me to a Metal or rock show right after and I'll headbang! 😁

Came here for Nostalgia sake. And still enjoy the song almost as much as 10 years ago. Now I was never a huge Aiden fan at all. I do enjoy a decent amount of their songs. But they're like the only band that truly breaks my heart that they never had much more success that I believe they deserve.

@@alvinsmith6032 same. I was young and opinionated at the time, but I think that they were made to look bad honestly. Their MTV commercials always made me cringe, and they are actually pretty badass. They did the main song for Dead Silence and that alone is enough to show me they are cool dudes, and they are. Just wish I would have been able to support them when they were still coming up.

When I first heard this album I was blown away and it’s still top 5 best complete albums in my opinion!

One of my first concerts was Aiden (with Silverstein and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. TALK ABOUT STACKED). I still remember the date. October 30th, 2006. Guess it wasn't just a phase because I'm 31 and this is my gym jam right now. 😂

All my friends were into this stuff back when I was a teenager. Was more of a metalhead, and never really thought much of this scene. Now I'm lucky enough to know these bands and go back and listen to them for the first time. I'm only 20 years late to the party. 😂

Ahh Myspace. I remember I had one of their album covers as the background of my page. My sister and I used to skip school and go to the library to use their computers and blast Aiden.

@@sumspring4112 I'm extremely familiar with AFI all the way back to the first 7inches before they signed to Nitro records back in 94. Aiden are cut from the same cloth as bands like AFI & the Nerve Agents with shades of the Damned and 90's post hardcore like Jawbreaker

The samplers Victory placed in their artists albums were fucking awesome. what a great idea. your fans thank you for this!! i would have never heard a few songs that i still love to this day!

Still some of the best pump up music! Mostly listen to it while im either 1. driving fast or 2. working out. Very unique playstyle and voice, love it! Reminds me of late highschool jammin to this!

i saw this video back in the day off a victory dvd . i got it off i think the hawthorne heights album I'm not sure. but this shit was so good i showed everybody in my neighbour hood all my friends and we all sat up in my room watching this video. its a shame aiden with so 666 cause if they stayed like this and the first album with i set my friends on fire people would still buy their music.

For reasons unknown I woke up this morning singing this song. It has to have been at least 10 years since I have heard it. First time I ever saw or heard Aiden was when they opened up for HIM in Atlanta back in 06. What a time to be alive.

So much nostalgia. If you can, see them on their last tour "The Last Sunrise" tour. The show is amazing. Even though it's really just wiL and some other guys, they sounded great and it was one of the best shows I've been to in a while.
