JY Yew aiden's goals in the first game were to 1.stop Damien 2.find the people responsible for his niece's death He completed those goals but he is still a vigilante. He still fights crime and also at the end of act 2 in the original game he said there are still corrupted men who traffic people and he wants to stop them. That might explain why he is in SF.

For all of you that are confused on some basic stuff, let me explain 1. He got locked up by the people in the sex trafficking ring, they led him into a trap, hence why he is in the cell. 2. How did Aiden get his phone? The guard took him baton and his phone from him to stop him from escaping 3. The cell he is locked up in is in the same facility as Marcus, not in a STATE PRISON, like one comment I read. -_- I hope this has helped at least one person :)

I still can't get over how dissconnected the story is from it's gameplay. Especially when you go around killing people and still for some reason gain followers. If it was purely stealth and being non-lethal basically just you being a hacktivist doing pranks for lols and exposing corrupt assholes, then yeah it would fit the story pretty well.

The point of the game is to take down major systems using tools at your disposal. Much as I hate to say it, this game could've benefitted from a morality meter. Only instead of Criminal / Vigilante like the last game, Domestic Terrorist / Activist would've worked here.

dont over react. hes makeing a joke. and for all you know hes secretly a dev geting hype for the secret DLC XD. but yeah a DLC with aiden might be cool. would be even more so if they made it A free B that you could play him and he has different buffs and some negatives. mabie if this is after WD1 (i dont know) then police AOS or KOS but he gets more bot net or something like that. I loved his serious personality, It made him badass, This guy we play as in Watch Dogs 2 whoever his name is, Is far too relaxed and layed back unlike Aiden

The Budugs the developers based the games off the cites themselves. Chicago is mysterious while San Francisco is more upbeat and lively

If the guard is closer to the left, he will strangle him and unlock the cage. Then he will disarm the guard and trigger the blackout. The difference is that he disarms the guy instead of already having the weapon.

They both fit their own locations and story. Aiden fits Chicago because it’s more of a Gotham kinda city in game. Marcus fits this version of San Francisco because it’s more upbeat, something I definitely wouldn’t imagine Aiden Pearce, the Batman of the Watchdogs universe, being.

Tempted to buy the first game and play through it while I wait for Watch_Dogs 2 after it's two week delay on PC.

Having Aiden as a mysterious vigilante is a lot cooler than his one not revenge plot from WD1. I like what they've done with his character. It's subtle. Less is more.

Shame the Blackout feature was never included in Watch_Dogs2. That's literally one of the coolest features of the first game, and this is the only time it's ever a thing here.
