They cancelled the show 'cause they were jealous of Aidan's amazing acting skills.

It.is a good thing to be able to.see again series we have loved and have the opportunity to admire once more the actors we like

Really, how can someone decide to end a show this way? A couple of minutes to show us that he would be saved would have been ok! And I've just seen this collection of Aidan's scenes, I wonder how people who followed the full serie took it...

Thank you so much for this. Not only was Rouri (sp) in trouble but so was Patrick (heart attack). I can't believe they ended it like that. Networks and their games with the devoted audiences.

What a great series. I wish they did not cxcl. Excellent storylines, acting and medical info spot on. I wish they would rethink bringing it back.

Can't believe I sat in a room with Aiden last year, but at the time, I had no idea who he was! I hadn't seen anything he'd been in and only became familiar with him after friends kept talking about him after seeing him in The Hobbit. Now I'm familiarising myself with his work, thanks for uploading these for us to enjoy. But I want more! They can't leave us in a state of limbo!

Anna Worley Yes, but because I didn't know who he was, it didn't mean much at the time! But I wasn't as lucky as some friends of mine who got to spend an evening with him (and other Hobbit cast members) at a cocktail party the night before. They have some great up-close-and-personal photos. Hopefully I will see him again if he makes another trip back to NZ for the final Hobbit instalment.

I heard he was in this show and I was thinking that it would take too long to watch the whole season just for Aidan but then I saw these videos and they were just sooo convenient!! Like, the ONLY reason that I would have ever watch these were for Aidan, and this just made it so much easier to watch my baby!! XD Anyway, this channel is amazing and just a suggestion...... You should do the same thing you did with the clinic to the hobbit: the desolation of smaug :D it would be super popular and I would watch it 100x a day! Well thank again, theses videos are great!!

Wow, I didn't see that coming. Does Rauirí make it? Was that it for the show? Bummer. I don't get why they keep killing him off at the end of things. :( But he certainly was great in this role. Very natural actor. And like the Hobbit movies, he lit up the screen whenever he was on it. Thanks so much for posting these clips. I've now seen everything Aidan has done on screen except Hattie, which will be next.

Is one of my favorite shows, the producer eas an idiot cancelling without and end. My favorite character was Dan, he was a very real character, having worked in the medical field, I see it. My least likeable were Lorcan, an irresponsible doctors that with HIV exposes his patients using needles, a double glove is not enough, jealous of Dan, and the other is the Counselor, he feels holy, if I had one session with this dreary black Counselor, I would be a willing candidate to walk in a bust road. Also the black doctor is a very strong likeable character.

he cant die i mean i just watched this episode but hes still bloody beautifull and he looks at one point like he did as kili with a poisioned arrow stuck in his leg but can that happen with a bullet wound?

I had avoided everything because I didn't want to be spoiled so I went in totally blind. I got such I fright. I really was completely surprised.

It is a terrible scene. Slow motion and all! But it was only sad because Aidan is such a great actor, he made the pain real. Yes, he's alive and kicking! :D

No he most likely would have survived because the ambulance got there at a good time, pressure was on the wound before hand and it wasn't near his heart so it's not as serious - but more painful :(

He doesn't, Poldark he was fine and Being Human he was already dead 🤷‍♀️😂

This was truly a terrible ending for the series. He's shot, and viewers never find out if he lives or dies. Talk about your downers.

I'm betting a lot of fans were shipping Ruairi and Daisy so I'm sure he would have lived. To bad they canceled this show. It looked good

Okay, now that I actually thought about it, I'm 80% sure that Ruairi would've been okay in the next season. Even if we ignore the fact that he got actual help and that abdominal wounds, while nasty, can take up to 10 minutes to kill someone, who isn't getting ant help at all, Ruairi still has very good chances. First of all, shows rarely kill to characters at the same time: it's hard to illustrate parallel grieving processes, so usually only one character or an amalgamated group of characters get' skilled. And mister heart attack has less chances seeing that no one is taking care of him. Secondly, Dan seems like a much more important character than Ruairi, so this events should push his arc. Apparently Dan was doing some nasty stuff and was antagonized for it lately. Dan interned his redemption arc when he took Ruairi out despite having a gun pointed at him. It's hard to start your road to redemption from "you created the mess that killed the guy everyone loved, no one cares that you tried yo save him". But if Dan would've done something heroic and succeeded, than people might've forgive him. Thirdly, heart attack guy's death creates more drama that is easier to show. He is a more prominent character, so his death affects people harder. Plus, I noticed an ongoing subplot for all major characters but this guy, so he really doesn't seem to have a lot of stuff going on for him. Even the arc with his son easily adds to drama without creating major damage - the boy doesn't tied up with the rest of the characters, so he can suffer for a bit and go back to his mom without damaging the plot. Lastly, it looks like Ruairi is the only comic relief character on the show, and starting a new season with a dead comic relief is like shooting yourself in the leg - it's hard to run a show, that is only pain and suffering. Relax, people, Ruairi maid it.

Алина Жидиль Thank you for posting these. Ive recently become a big fan thanks to Poldark. I watched all 10 of these vids you made...really nice of you. Ok so I know he left the show to go film The Hobbit but in the following season of this did they tell if he lived or is that your conclusion. Was he mentioned in the next season? Im in the states so I never saw this until now....really good show. But I hated it he got shot and then it ended and left me hanging. Thanks again.

Sparta 64 Oh, dear, but I'm not the one, who made the videos! Nope, that was Aidan Turner Corner, not me. I just ranted a bit about all the reasons why I believe that Rauri made it. Also, Aidan left Being Human to film The Hobbit, not the Clinic. I guess the show was closed for low ratings and there was no reason to kill the Rauri to free Aidan from his contract, so in case they got an additional season they could still have Aidan on the cast. He didn't have any major projects going his way, so he probably wouldn't have minded to continue with The Clinic. But no one knows why The Clinic was actually canceled (it still rated in the top 10 most watched shows on RTÉ One) and other possibles reasons were declined by the channel. The show ended with a big cliffhanger, and no one actually know what direction it could've taken. I merely tried to take a logical approach (with a mix of wishful thinking) to the situation and decided that Rauri survived even if we never got to see the next season.

I knew it was Being Human that he left that part for Hobbit but I got mixed up for a moment. My mistake. Oops! I didn't realize the Clinic ended after that episode. This was the first time I had ever watched any part of it on here..I live in the US. I did really like it though...goood show.

Seriously? That's it. That sucks.

This is really bad. Bad acting, bad script. AT is the only decent thing in it. No wonder it was cancelled. Reminds me of Crossroads but without the charisma.

I never liked Daisy as his girlfriend , she looks too old for Ruairi !
