This guy has plenty of potential. Can read defenses real well, can scramble. He can improvise. He's still not totally stress tested in the pro league. Draft rating. A-

That's not true, but he's doing good so far. What I like about him is how he doesn't try to win the game on every play. He throws it away when he needs to and goes to the next play. Avoiding most of the turnovers many rookies make.

Well the kid got his start um 3 fumbles game tying interception. Looked really bad first half a little better in the second I don't know what or if there's an answer anymore for this team.

O’Connell will be brought back down to earth when he gets a chance to play in a real game. He is not a scrambling QB and when he faces the mad and relentless NFL pass rush he will get a rude awakening. He will surfer like most of the first and second year QBs. The Media has been ordained as the next great QB. We will all Waite and see. Don’t get over excited just yet.
