Totally agreed. That particular X-Factor audition was perhaps the best voice I heard her sing in. Somehow I couldn't relate her voice to this song here.

Aida is amazing! I just discovered her on KZread and have watched all of her videos. Even though I don't understand her native language, I am mesmerized by her voice. The one from ukrainian X-Factor, were the judges stopped her for lip sync? If yes. That was an amazing experience. Just saw it again after some 5 years time. That voice, and those eyes. Wow. I hope Aida and her family are okay.

Hollywood ruined a naturally beautiful voice. She was better untouched and raw. Pure born talent.

I don't think Aida speaks English, or at least not very well. She had a few issues with 'Rolling in the Deep' on XFactor, to the point where she got a few words completely wrong. Whoever chooses songs for her shouldn't be giving her songs in English -- her voice is so beautiful I'd listen no matter if I could understand the language or not. That's what Google is for; it's not exactly hard to find an English translation of the lyrics.

All the more reason for her to learn English. After all ; the one she likes to cover most is Adèle and she's the "original". So if she wants to be as succesfull as Adèle the least she can do is to try to get the lyrics right. Not only immitating Adèle but féél what she sings. At least let her try to look like she's intelligent instead of just being a "covering-voice". TRUE musicians know and understand what they're singing, expressing the feelings.. There are already many "Adèle-coverings", so her voice isn't that uniqie in Europe and America anymore. Only in Russia, so it seems.. But hey, most Russians don't understand English, so she will make it there.

If you see her other videos,(Or even the first few minutes of her video)you'll see it's clear her main language is NOT English.She's trying the best she can and I LOVE her voice! While I agree she could use to learn more English, her voice wins me over 10 to 1.I think I just found my new role model!! ^_^ . I just heard of her today, however, and I must ask, does anyone know if she's ever been on The Voice or America's Got Talent? Oh man! Getting farther into the video, I wonder why Ariel the Little Mermaid and other Mermaids are said to have the best voices! She makes that fish sound like a goose!! She's amazing!!! I'm awestruck!!

KARIN MYERS She is fantastic but she has to understand what she is singing. She will never be a star in english countries. Unless she learns the language. Look at charles aznavour. He learned to speak english and when he understood english he recorded She. The greatest hit he ever had. So why can't this amazing girl not learn english? It takes a year. Not more.
