It's sad to see people losing their jobs. However, especially truck drivers who do not respect cars, do not respect motorcycles, and choose to drive under the influence of alcohol, in addition to sometimes using drugs, are themselves responsible for losing their jobs. I would feel much safer if we had autonomous trucks on the roads and in the cities, that respected traffic, pedestrians, and motorcycles.

As a 247365 motorcycle driver myself year round, I see too many motorcycle videos of motorcyclists lane splitting, and it always get's up my ire... cutting in front of someone is still cutting in front of someone. Never mind that it's dangerous as h377, and no American drivers expect it coming from behind down the center of a lane or between them and two cars on the interstate.

@@choppergirl I totally agree with you, but a motorcycle doesn't kill a car driver; it's the car, bus, or truck that does the killing. It's a matter of strength. In this sense, the bus and the truck are the worst for me. However, your point is completely valid.

@@rodrigolumi Actually its kinetic energy that does the killing of anything impacting into anything else. More often than not, the motorcyclist into something else, like someone making a left hand turn in front of them. I had an ephiphany watching videos of lane splitters, that your best defensive strategy was to do the exact opposite of them, and not be as proximate to other cars as possible, but rather put a much space at all times between you and other vehicles, because you as the motorcyclists were always going to be on the losing end of any impact regardless who was at fault. In other words, if you regularly would maintain 5 car lengths of braking distance between you in a car and another car... increase that to 25 car lengths while you were on a motorcycle. In fact, don't stop at 25 car lengths, chose to put as much space as possible between you and everyone else. If they're not there, you can't hit them. This also applies chosing the time of destination and time of day. For example, one Walmart is directly into town for me and every other store... but in the other direction, through empty countryside, is another. If I just need to go to Walmart, I chose the store in the direction through countryside where there is no traffic at all. If I go to the other one, I can pick a time of day that avoids me traveling around 5pm when everybody is driving like a madman switching lanes bumper to bumper after work to get home. You kind of realize when driving for decades, as a motorcyclist you have to switch up your thinking from that of a car... just get in and go like in bumper cars. Because now you're more like a little kid not in a bumper car without protection dodging drivers that are in bumper cars on a bumper car floor in a bumper car world. Who was right and who was wrong when you run into each other don't matter after a collision if you're dead or injured. You're playing one spicy Russian roulette high stakes game every time you jump on your bike with the arbitrary randomness of other people and reality. :-)

Any jobs that require moving numbers, files, or emails will be gone within 5 years. AI can easily accomplish these mundane chores that people get paid to do. These simple tasks disguised as skillful jobs will be the first to go.

You say this but if all of these jobs were replaced the global economy would collapse. You say this as if it’s a good thing.

I'm not sure this isn't AI generated to be honest. There is a staggering amount of 'content' being generated by AI for youtube and its just absolute trash. It will be like a video titled "What was the loudest sound ever" and then a text to speech voice will read essentially a wiki page about what sound is and never actually say the topic of the video. I'm afraid that were quickly approaching a place where the internet is going to be flooded with so much meaningless junk content that it will be difficult to get useful information without the use of something like an AI assistant to track it down. If you search for some topic and 90% of what comes up is bullshit AI generated content, that is likely not useful because nothing novel has been added, that information was repackaged from somewhere else. Its copies of copies of copies and they'll just clutter up reality.
