I made a comment on the Living Galaxy simulation which wound up becoming my most successful comment ever, with more than 3.7k likes and becoming the pinned comment for that video. In it, I separated the many events into different eras depending on the political environment. With that out of the way, I'll be doing the same thing for this simulation. To maintain consistency with my previous comment, galactic superpowers are defined as a political entity that contains at least 10000 stars: 0:00 - The Epoch of Plausibility: In the first epoch, the civilizations scramble to claim star systems and engage each other. Almost immediately, the Plausible Mazine Organization emerges as the dominant power, surviving multiple insurrections and defeating many great rivals to become the first galactic superpower. 1:01 - The Ellazala-Plausible Galactic War: In the second epoch, as an insurrection takes hold in the PMO and eventually splits it in half, the Godly Ellazala Chiefdom rapidly expands in parts not under the PMO's influence and becomes the second galactic superpower. The two superpowers go head-to-head in the first great conflict of the simulation, with the Chiefdom clearly dominating. Near the end of the conflict, the Kingdom of Ettretter rebels against the PMO and accelerates their complete collapse, only to themselves spontaneously collapse and give the GEC total victory. 1:54 - The Decline of Ellazala: In the third epoch, despite the collapse of Ettretter, the GEC fails to gain their territories and begins a sharp decline. Repeated insurrections cripple the superpower as new powers take hold. The Guingnen Ascendency emerges as the third galactic superpower, only to collapse as fast as it rose. 2:23 - The Epoch of the Five Great Powers: In the fourth epoch, an interesting balance of power develops. Despite their catastrophic decline, Ellazala survives as a political entity and rebuilds from their decline to reclaim their great power status. Four other great powers emerge: the Brash Dicalozine Legion, the Fara Falange, the Hierarchy of Thedreptal, and the Voracious Population of Meriosing. The five great powers coexist for many millennia, with Meriosing emerging as the greatest of the five and becoming the fourth galactic superpower. 2:51 - The Fall of the Five Great Powers: In the fifth epoch, new entities emerge to challenge the long established five powers. Dicalozine, Fara and Thedreptal all decline and collapse as multiple new entities begin to chip away at the old balance of power. Eventually, Meriosing and Ellazala are also fully conquered. Without the careful guidance of the five powers, the balance of power descends into chaos. 3:12 - The Epoch of Zhong: In the sixth epoch, emerging with ambitions of great power and control, the Dusty Nobility of Zhong sweep through the eastern part of the galaxy and become the fifth galactic superpower. However, insurrections threaten the new power and reduce their influence temporarily. The Sloppy Ochlocracy of Angensuel uses this to their advantage, going on a great conquest and becoming the sixth galactic superpower. However, Angensuel completely collapses out of nowhere. The Zhong ultimately rebound and grow even more powerful. However, a massive wave of rebellions cripple the superpower and ultimately destroys it. 4:14 - The Epoch of the Swarm: In the seventh epoch, in the wake of the collapse of Zhong, the Meritocracy of Obla swells in power and looks to achieve superpower status, but rumors of a new threat not too far from their borders prove truthful as the Swarm of Hulam decimates them. The Swarm's power is ultimately enough for them to become the seventh galactic superpower. However, their success is soon contrasted with catastrophic defeats, and the Swarm is crushed. 4:42 - The Epoch of Superpowers: In the eighth epoch, the turnover of superpowers reaches a critical point. The Glorious Tindintere Collective becomes the eighth galactic superpower, only to fall to the rival Hapless Kingdom of Anora, who then become the ninth galactic superpower. In parallel, the Lush Collective of Yingyueing also swells in power, becoming the tenth galactic superpower. The LCY ultimately falls prey to widespread rebellion, while Anora is decimated by the Atemm Schism. Atemm ultimately uses this great victory to become the eleventh galactic superpower and continues their expansion. 5:37 - The Epoch of Ispicin: In the ninth epoch, Atemm begins a catastrophic decline. Taking advantage, the Lovely Ispicin Hegemony rapidly expands and becomes the twelfth galactic superpower.Ispicin soon gains a worthy rival, as the Obedient Government of Oditorazha emerges to become the thirteenth galactic superpower. The two superpowers seem to be on a collision course, but the OGO collapses, and no one is strong enough to battle with the LIH. Ispicin ultimately achieves total galactic hegemony, ruling over the galaxy with an iron fist. 6:53 - The Fall of Ispicin and the Rise of Zopiner: In the tenth epoch, the LIH is threatened by the rebellion of the Whispering Chiefdom of Enorm. Despite a ferocious attempt to crush the insurgence, Enorm expands and destabilizes Ispicin. Soon, rebellion spreads across the Hegemony, and the LIH's destruction is certain. The Nobility of Zopiner emerges as the most powerful rebel group, and they become the fourteenth galactic superpower at the LIH's expense. Zopiner then goes on a campaign to achieve what Ispicin did, coming very close to success. 7:24 - The Rise of the Three Superpowers: In the eleventh epoch, during the Zopiner conquest, the Ene Bureaucracy emerges as a great power in their own right. Zopiner's armies sweep through the region, and Ene courageously resists the superpower. Spurred on by Ene's courage, the Abaft Conspiracy of Tinaren and the Colossal Who Republic rise up against Zopiner. Together, the three rebel nations lead the coalition against Zopiner and ultimately emerge victorious. Ene becomes the fifteenth galactic superpower, followed by Tinaren becoming the sixteenth and the CWR becoming the seventeenth. 7:55 - The War of the Three Superpowers: In the twelfth epoch, the alliance that led to Zopiner's destruction falls apart, and the three superpowers descend into an all-out conflict. At first, Tinaren seems outmatched against Ene and the CWR, but they turn the tides and sweep through their rivals. Ene is decimated in the fighting against their rivals, and the CWR is crippled by rebellions. Nothing stands in Tinaren's path, and they achieve total galactic hegemony before spontaneously collapsing. 8:26 - The Great Beyond: We are currently in the thirteenth epoch. New nations squabble amongst themselves for power and control. Their stories are still being written.

Interesting to see the Godly Ellazala Chiefdom go from nearly controlling the galaxy, to barely controlling a few star systems, to getting back up to second place before finally collapsing.

The best empire in my opinion was hapless kingdom of anora almost died 4 times yet they lasted almost 400 years from 620~ to 1002 easily the longest lasting empire

God I love watching these, I always pick my favorite color and pretend I'm a soldier or whatnot for that empire through it's history. Keeps me invested

There's an empire that due to its mistakes and bad luck didnt conquer the galaxy that was hapless kingdom of anora they started a blood purge edict one of the first and for that they almost died 4 times but lasted over 400 millenia it was easily the longest lasting empire it would be the rome of the galaxy

"Dysfunctional Att Formation", if maybe nothing else, at(t) least they were honest with themselves.

No one noticed to what happened to hapless kingdom of anora, almost died 4 times? But got back and recovered he was the most enduring empire during eras, but sure he wasn't the biggest, but atleast got half of the galaxy nor the most powerful, but they most everlasting empire. Maybe if they had a bit of luck they would be the first to conquer the galaxy

Yeah, and the entire galaxy almost never went below 20 (and usually stood in the 30s) afterward, and only a few other tech-centered empires managed to get past the low 40s with one getting the the high 50s. It's very unfortunate the Tinaren undid all of that, somce you can see the post-1433 civs have tech levels of 1 and 2, which is 4 dozen tiers down from them. Also, when the Ellazala rose up again from the 430s to the 460s they ironically were far below the tech level of the other large they tried to compete with since those empires rebelled from them at their height, while the Ellazala fell all the way to being nearly destroyed and saved by the self-destruction of the empire that was going to crush them if they kept going for just half a dozen or so more millennia.

@@davilimalol4612 hapless kingdom of anora in my opinion is the best empire although they went to war with everybody because.they had blood purge and almost died 4 times resisted and defeated higher tech empires and lasted almost 400 millenia and were the longest lasting empire nothing lasts forever and so they were defeated by the next galactic conqueror at 1003 that conquered all the galaxy but they fought with them and held out 60 millenia which is impossible since they had a tech disadvantage of 20 techs against them

Im a Civ6 guy and new to this game/sim. Can somebody tell me what event it is, when a whole empire just goes POP! and disappears from the map? A mass extincion event, transcending material world...? Packing stuff and leaving for another galaxy...? ^^'

Well there's a few different events that can make an empire disappear, the most common one is the ALL_WILL_BE_ASHES event where the empire decides to just kill all life and kill themselves, the other event is when an empire reaches a certain tech level which will lead it to transcend.

@@YaboitheCadian Basically if your country isn't connected to a province it would lose it. So for example if you took over Britain and France but lost France as the Byzantines, you would lose Britain once your emperor dies. Likewise if you lose all the provinces surrounding another province, you would lose it as well once your ruler dies.

All of these events happened while one galaxy rotated a little over two degrees.

The west part was always collapsing

@@NeoWish It looks like one group will overwhelm almost every other group across the entire galaxy for years and then eventually it breaks up into pieces. I thought it was unusual because I would expect to see two or three superpowers rather than one single galactic empire.

@@doggonemess1 I think that's just how galimulator works. The circumstance/reason (tech amd modifiers) that made that one empire into great power continues until they conquered the galaxy. Because if they don't have those circumstance to begin with they might never became a great power. However with luck you could have two superpowers depending on circumstance.
