2010 - Photographers job will be gone in next 5-10 years, everyone will have high quality camera in their phones. 2022- Everyone has great camera in their phones, but Photographers are making hell lot of money than they ever did when there were no camera in everyone's hand. Go hire a good wedding photographer, videographer etc and you'll know how much they are charging. AI will only add-on never replace designer or even software developer.

More precisely who is in the industry only he knows what Ai can do Or not, .. Ai will not take your reviews or revision And talk to you regarding your changes.. Ai didn't have emotions For upcoming 20-50 years Ai can't take jobs away, but it can change the responsibility, .. AI is going to take over all the jobs in next 25-30 years for sure. and stop giving argument that AI cant be creative, it can do things in sec which us humans would require years to complete. Graphic design is not just about making cute composits and images and these softwares excells in that areas no doubt. I think it will be just one more helping tool. It can help finding the right picture for some illustration or will lower the need for Shutterstock or similar stocks with pics and clipart. Time will tell, probably these softwares will be better and better with years and can be actually of bigger use than just picture generators.

Graphic designers and artists work really hard but get paid very less, sometimes clients even try to steal the arts. Hopefully AI can reduce the manual workload and give some relief to the artists 🙏

Buddy: AI won't replace a thing. Practical approach holds all of it back, a watchman will do things that may not even seem to be listed in his job roles, but an AI will never cross that boundary. You see, I have a question for you, If you have an option to hire a designer and convince him for one more or two more revisions, he will be flexible enough to do so. Because he can assess the volume of work and emotions attached to that revision, he/she can make decisions on the basis of emotions and situations of another human beings status. Tell me if that is something an AI can do. And let's set off the. Course to be 5 years. Also, Indian market and environment is so different even worlds smartest car tesla is sweating to set off foots here. We take decisions on the basis of the least spend amount or free advantage of almost everything around us. Tier 2- tier 3 areas won't even consider AI infront of Humans. And let's talk about these platforms you have mentioned, first off. A good businessman values his time over any other thing. He won't sit and make his own designs just because AI can do it. Second the fundamental aim of Nvidia and all future tech companies is not to make tools that eliminate a need of designer. But they are built to let designer serve better and faster. Let's not spread the impractical side of AI. I run an agency and have worked with several clients in india, and overseas. Have hired and taken interviews of over 500+ folks every year. As a tier 2 agency i don't see AI replacing designers. Instead i see it helping them to be better.

AI can only make Images by Iterating pictures, Artwork, designs, and patterns available on the internet by their algorithm. It can't make any design by itself that represents human emotions. AI is just a tool.

You should have done more research on this topic, Graphic designers are not image editors they do research and analysis to find a creative solution to a problem, This can`t be done by some text to image generator AI, they can penetrate in Stock images market or image editing market but can't really replace graphic designers or artists. Some of the clients or brands don`t even know what is their problem so if you don`t know The problem then AI can`t create a solution for that we look into the brand and find branding problems and solve it that's what all graphic designers do.

It would act as tool for top 10% graphic designer and rest will loose the deal

well I got access to Dall E2, and I have been using it for quite some time, and trust me it is good for Digital Art ( 70% of cases ) which is 10% of what a graphic designer actually does, Design has so much more like Typography, Layout, Symmetry, Color, Branding and so much more when it comes to real-life business applications, Dall E2 is good for generating concepts but in real life applications, it sucks.

@@madhavmathur4008 well its the same analogy everybody used in case of GPT 2 and GPT 3 and we still have content writers today...it is easier said than done..design and art are 2 very different worlds design is so much more complex than the way it looks because there are multiple constraints and so many stakeholders. yeah in the next 20 years nothing is gonna be relavant anymore
