I'm a composer and I still find this incredible! I've been playing around a lot with Sona and Udio using orchestral prompts and I'm impressed more often than not. Can't wait to see this tech in a few years.

they sound shallow and predictable tbh, yet that they were created in minutes is immensely impressive.

It doesn't matter that people write " has no feeling" "no catchy motiff" etc. If this would be higher quality recording and would be in a film, that would be badass enough and no one would complain. Because in many ways it has more interesting elements than majority of modern scores.

Thx for visit & feedback. We'll see what this year brings us, probably a bunch of AI content on YT, and the human work should be more unique. And yes, the motives are good enough for me tbh 😃, just the melodies aren't grasped properly yet. The AI doesn't have enough ability to finish them and follow up yet - that's why I think the "AI can't feel" argument is crucial, at least for now.

Maybe the other way around. Seeing your channel have so few fans is exactly what saddens me the most. When there's enough AI crap on the internet, maybe people will finally start to seek out and appreciate your original work. Thanks for visit & feedback sir 🫡

@@FreeContentLab An out-of-towner stops by the feed store for some drinks and snacks and sees an old farmer in a rocking chair, next to a barrel with a checkerboard on top. Sitting in the opposite chair is an old mutt of a dog. Initially, the visitor thinks they are both just sitting there, but is surprised to see the farmer make a move. Even more surprising is that the dog looks at the board, looks at the farmer, and then makes his *own* move. The visitor exclaims, "That's amazing! Your dog can play checkers! He even made a legal move!" The farmer replies, "Eh, don't get too excited, he's not as smart as he looks. I usually beat him two times out of three!" Which is to say, you should be surprised that AI can do this at all, and not find fault with its less than perfect execution. Check back this time next year for improvements.

I respect this opinion, but the thing is: What would your reaction be if I hadn't honestly mentioned that it was AI? And believe me, there are already hundreds of channels launching now that won't bother with that labeling at all and will release those songs as their own creation. Even though that this production is still actually creative process, because f.e. I spent +- few hours on each song to make it sound listenable and at least possibly mastered. If you heard one of these as background in some informative video on war topics or history, I bet you couldn't notice it. This way on a clean sheet, there are a noticeable amount of artifacts and imperfections, of course.

@@FreeContentLab I agree with you in such an argument. My only point is that I do not go for AI when Art is involved. I am very old fashioned and I will not support technology over a human if I am aware of the AI intervention. Thank you for your kind and understanable comment.

@@FreeContentLab This is clearly working from input songs, I would guess Hans Zimmer the dark knight etc... It takes the tunes and breaks down then re-arranges. It isn't clever or intelligent like a composer, its is just a re-arranging software.

@@fdocument2889 Yes, that's right. That's roughly how it works. However, my original question remains: what would be your reaction if I didn't label it as AI? All AI tools working this way. It learns on a set of inputs. But I would dare to say that about every human artist - who is inspired by the work of others.
