AI Catfishing, Long-distance Relationships & Successful Women | Two Personal Show

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for Two Personal! In this week’s episode, Joy and Taylor talk about AI-generated photos and the surprising ways people have manipulated their photos on social media. They also chat about the concept of aesthetic compatibility in relationships, basically when your fashion sense is very different from your partner’s.
As for the main topic, they dive into the age-old question of whether a woman can 'have it all.' The conversation explores the implications for women, challenging societal expectations and judgments associated with their choices.
New episodes of the show drop every Wednesday on KZread, and you can catch the audio version on all major podcast platforms. If you want to keep the conversation going, you can follow the show on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X using the handle @TwoPersonalShow.

It’s best to meet in person. I kept meeting Tinder girls that had OF’s. I can’t introduce OF’s girls to my mother. Nope.

To each their own. I feel it's one thing to generate AI art due to someone putting their imagination into a digital canvas... but some take it too far due to their insecurities. Some people are even getting to the point that it will be their profile photos for dating apps. Also, my question would be... is it any different than people using filters? I agree with what home girl on the left said with that point. "It's possible to change something so much to the point it's no longer who you are."

From a mans perspective I don't feel like when that question is asked It implies that a woman having a man in her life has to be a part of "It all" I think it absolutely depends on the individual woman. In my opinion the question is more so centered around just being able to acquire everything they want out of their lives, which is a hard thing for anyone to do. I feel like the question is more prevalent in today's world because women have become very detailed in what they want out of their lives which is obviously okay. But I think sometimes we forget that life is life and you can't really control it that much. I hope that makes sense

I really don't understand the implication that this phrase "Can Women Have It All" was somehow coined by men, because it wasn't. Please goggle Helen Gurley Brown. She essentially coined the phrase with a popular book she wrote of the same name back in 1982 I believe. This phrase gained traction among feminists addressing grievances women had with society, and "patriarchal" norms. Sneak dissing men isn't cute ladies, especially when men had literally nothing to do with this phase. This phrase was pushed through a female lens. This had nothing to do with men. Women started asking this question because they felt, and still do feel that they're entitled to everything.

Not quite sure if I understand why Taylor thinks this AI stuff is so scary. So some people don't like how they look, and create filters to make themselves look different. Yes. Some people are simply unattractive. It's not a bad thing to be conscious of that. The remedy might look different depending on a number of factors, but filtering one's image so they look like a different person implicates not much beyond self-esteem, which isn't that big of a deal.
