Its the parrying heavies for me. Absolutely idiotic. A heavy was literally originally called the “block break”. They need to fix that back to how it was 100% neither attacker or defender should be parrying a heavy attack. Fuck that.

This shit happened to me yesterday on bgs. I was so pissed. Today I got reparried in the arenas two times causing me to lose the streak.

LOL that’s my forum post, it’s really concerning how they literally changed the ai and weren’t planning to tell us at all if we didn’t notice this.

This has been going on for about 6 months.

While I was Using gladiator in arena I got reparried while hitting block hell yeah oh 4 hits in lol Jesus all they have to do is remove the parry mastery for the defenders

After almost 10 years I am finally in the process of quitting mcoc because the amount of stress this game is adding to my life has become absolutely insane. I have not been playing for about 2 weeks now and even though it was hard in the beginning, I can see the advantages and the freedom clearer every day and I‘m glad I‘m getting rid if this stressful addiction and focusing my time and energy to things that actually matter and make sense. 🙏

A few times I've been parried by a defender in BGs during a HEAVY attack.

I forgot there was an update... I don't do it until the new month SQ starts JUST to avoid new bugs.

@@biggie3031 correct, not new... but the update updated the occurrence of the reparries. Kabam forgot not to touch the AI... oops. I mean they NEVER touch the AI, this is all user error. *wink*

Everytime I think Kabam can’t do something stupider with the AI they do. I need them to come clean they are altering the AI constantly trying to make it more difficult to go against.

It happened to me twice in the first two arena matches, I thought I was going crazy.

​@@OYC2316 forget UAT, those guys don't have QA. Don't write unit or integration tests. Management probably just chokes the devs to do crazy things in short time, and keep letting staffs go. Meaning more work for the devs with less man power... for them they are smart saving cost. But in reality it's just absolutely poor Management... which typically leads to majority of companies downfall.

Kabam has gotta be either the stupidest company or the smartest but I'm sure you can tell what I think they are 😂

I've had the AI intentionally wait for Scorpion's heavy to expire, so I can't cancel into special, multiple times in a row. The moment the Heavy expires they rush in so I can't do a thing about it as they combo me. Then, with Viv, multiple times and consistently as well, the AI will do one attack into parry and then back off so that it'll waste your phase before you can use it to retaliate. It makes it really annoying to use Viv, especially as I was using her specifically because I wasn't feeling like dealing with stun reflect nodes. So much for that...

This is absolutely intentional from Kabam. A wise man once said: “cash rules everything around me. Cream, get the money, dolla dolla bill y’all!” They create all these problems to push customer boundaries for what to expect from the game. They want to see how far they can can push players before they no longer accept certain things. They win the closer they get to this “breaking point” without people fighting back.

Kabam has full control of AI... If they can create nodes that influence AI, it's only obvious that they have control over AI... They are doing a great job to make us hate this... Not until we stop spending in this game will they learn...

This has caused a handful of outright losses in bg. Total bs. And on galan, I'd swear he is supposed to be immune to power burn....but play against peni with him in bg

On top of everything you said, most annoying thing is I’m not able land my hit after defender heavy. Defender in no time or while my combo is in middle defender throwing specials 😂

Hulking is by far my most used champ and this is extremely annoying. Tried playing him how I normally would and got reparied. I didn’t even know their was an update.

I currently have my hulkling in raids... they better fix this if not I'm going to get completely destroyed in the next few hours... as if autoblock wasn't bad enough.😂

kabam admitted they changed it -- the ai became passive -- they revert it back -- that's not how testing works --- example kabam changed the glancing that fixed the fantman glancing but shocker used to behave differently before that so it gets nerfed in that sense -- a lot of champ, there ability , there profile -- if u change one thing - it gets tested and send to prod . it interact with other by nug report that's standard practice

Just lost 4 BG matches in a row bc of this issue. 3 of the 4 matches i had a roster better than my opponents and still lost after being punished for being re-parried. Hope they give us compensations for all these issues.

I had an absolute blast trying to take down an AW boss R3 Onslaught getting parried mid combo last war. Glad to see it's considered a bug at least. It can be a tricky fight in itself and I can take getting punished for mistakes, but getting punished when doing everything "right" is just too frustrating so at that point I just sent it.

Um the crazy thing is this has been happening before the update getting parried when striking defenders block with Valkyrie

What they probably have done is program an ai that learns from the player base and let it run rampant on the community. That way they can say "we didn't do anything" cause they are lazy

Kabam banned me from the ticket support system rather than deal with the basics of dealing with my complaints which were mostly about the bugs they’ve left in the game. Top tier Kabam behaviour - something needs to change before the game dies

The Showcase was the WORST example. Worst part about it is that the game clearly knew when it was going to successfully do it because the stun icon would appear a few seconds BEFORE the re-parry registered. It's absolute BS! Goodbye Valkyrie in AW.

Anyone else being made to wait until 30 seconds have passed in BGs before you can enter a match? Just finding out of this is a personal bug for me or a general one they’ve rolled out for everyone?

Is it crazy? Yes! Am I okay with it? Strangely yes. Better too hard than too boring. Just leave the AI for end game bosses easy. Even the old Act 6.4.6 boss is still difficult enough.

This is bad, Raids being messed up again is bad. Changes reverted and whole tactics making champs like Moleman and Chee'ilth unusable! What a joke of a day. lol

you can tell KT has never programmed anything in his life lol. each champion and modifier has an aggression or passive assignment that can cause knock on affects anywhere in the game. Unintended interactions or lack of oversight in an ever expansive game. have you not programmed anything in your life KT? this game keeps getting bigger and bigger with more champions and modifiers. It's only a matter of time until it creates unintended bugs or interactions with other parts of the game. Having testers at this point in the game is simply not enough for the thousands of combinations and iterations of tests that need to be done to catch every bug. But once a patch is released to the masses, we create 100's of thousands of scenarios and identify bugs much faster than developers. this happens in every big game that has a ton of characters/modifiers/Ai. I don't know why KT is baffled at this. It's like he doesn't play other games in his life.

As a software engineer, you sound more ignorant on this topic. For an issue that has existed before, made a fix, Push through unit tests, then QA, then UAT/Pilot, to live/production. For an issue that literally has ticket that was passed through different stages on their project board. There should be a test case to check for it before deploying to even staging, talk more of all these stages and straight to production. Unless you're doing low level development (you and some other developers with no real structure) However in any standard/decent organisation, these are the norms. So if the same issue still persisted after another deployment in the future, they didn't run that test or let me not sugar coat it: No such test exists in the flow of their projects. Which is just pathetic for such a big company.

KT's on a conspiracy train of "Kabam did it to fuck over the playerbase" which is such an absurd claim for something so obvious. Kabam having a massive layoff doesn't make things better. The game is going to get worse. This is a realistic expectation. We are not talking about Ideal protocols. Kabam is trying to get by with what they have. It's not only a Kabam issue, but almost every big game suffers from these very problems (some more than others depending upon how well funded they are I guess). I am not a Kabam shill. Never really liked them, but this problem is not a conspiracy. To think it is, sounds exactly like something Prof Hoff would say.

@@deanh3678 you're not being realistic. why would you let more staffs go, then someone else on the team can pick up the responsibility without actually employing new staffs? Yet kabam were already falling behind deadlines and cutting corners. Tell me how that makes sense... if they are not just being worried about pocketing more money. Horrible management all round. Even if you're not in the IT sphere, why would a team member leave in a sports team and your smart idea be: let someone double on his postion as well, when they were already struggling with a full team. They let go of some devs earlier on this year (never heard of replacement) Most of kabam mods are leaving one after the other (they aren't hiring new people to replace them) Just drag dave from another project to bring him to double on his work and probably pay him cheap. Cutting corners is absolutely disgusting, especially since they aren't making less profit. Yet kabam let staffs go to pocketing more money and you say you're being realistic.

This is how companies are run when you are owned by Netmarble or any big company like Tencent. They are profits motivated. You are clearly a KT shill.
