The only SM vocal technically better than Ryeowook was just behind him (Kyuhyun). I could also say Hwanhee (FTTS) but he's not anymore under SME.

I think it should be pointed out that he's singing this in the ORIGINAL KEY. It's hard enough for male singers to sing in a female key, but damn not only he was able to do it, he fucken NAILED IT. SuJu are monster vocalists

it's not in the original key (cuz duh he's a male) but his control was really good. Still pre high too. Ryeowook and Kyuhyun both have one of my favourite voices in kpop.

The original song is mainly hitting C#5s in the chorus while Ryeowook is hitting A4s, so it's definitely not the same key

I see the double standard in the comments and so called SM stans. Super Junior have always been talented and hold an irreplaceable position in the industry. But for these stans of SM, SUJU are invisible to support. Suju get so much hate exclusively from SM stans, it’s not even a joke. Suju are not included in their versions of SM vocalist compilations, but they come to comment and remind people they are from SM when it suits them and their motives.

Meanwhile the reason I became SM stans it’s because 2nd gen, I knew how good their vocals (tvxq, suju, snsd, f(x), and shinee) and I always rooting for their best. I’m very happy that 2nd gen of kpop (shinee and suju) made a comeback, it reminds me how precious the old day was. They’re very talented (especially in live vocals which nowadays it’s hard to find)

This is one of the many reasons why Super Junior is everlasting, they have pure, diverse and creative skills and talents. They know how to blend fun and work together. Individual attributes are well distributed. This group can last for 10 years and beyond, perform even in their 30s, 40s, 50s and more and still people and ELFs will love them. They can sing altogether without any dancing and still people will enjoy their vocals which is in harmony. They can be in love or get married if they want to and ELFs will still be there to support them. Super Junior is our LAST MEN STANDING.

령구 목소리 세상에서 제일 맑고 깨끗하고 투명하고 고와서 온세상에 있는 모든 바이러스, 미세먼지, 유독물질 확실하게 다 없앨 수 있겠다....그리고 놀라운건 목상태 안 좋아 보일때가 거의 없다는 것...물론 안 좋을때도 있겠지만 그게 느껴지지가 않을 만큼 안정적인 국보보컬ㅠㅠㅠ

One of the reason that Super Junior stays in the industry (despite some of their fellow 2nd generation group are now disbanded) is they have crazy vocals and talents!
