@@Hex72 I was there, they said they would not do it, the special trailer we got, will never be revealed again, you cannot see it. You will only be able to see what we saw, if you watch the full series, what I can tell you is, we saw thrawns face and he looks amazing, aswell as it comes out in early august, before the 14th.

Space whales! I think that Sabine weilding a green lightsaber was cool, but Thrawn coming out of the shadows and seeing his face…wow. I just hope they really do Thrawn’s story as much as Ashoka’s. I cannot imagine how only eight episodes is going to be anywhere enough time to cover everything.

It was up Saturday under “Ashoka extended trailer” It is gone now. It started slightly differently with Ashoka already in the Temple. When they cut to the three ships coming out of hyperspace, she narrates about Thrawn, you see his shuttle land in one of those ships, then she says the “heir to the Empire” part and then you his shuttle bay open and then you see him torso up…honestly, when you see his face, if you watch, his body almost appears to be limping. There was some other stuff, but the main thing was seeing Thrawn’s face. Oh yeah at the end, it fades to black and then comes back with Sabine and Ashoka in front of…whatever the space whale is called.

It’ll probably be more seasons, been teased heavily, and the story will continue in Dave’s movie, which might very well become a triology, when it breaks the box office records.

Remember how depressing things had gotten during the sequel era. It was really hard to imagine seeing this level of energy and fandom again after that, and yet here we are thanks to this fan duo on stage.

I hate the sequels, but the Celebrations during that era were still as hype. You think everyone hates the crappy sequels? You'd be surprised how many people pole ride those movies.

@@sidneyemunoz i thought the last jedi was fantastic. the other two were eh. its unfortunate cause i think all the characters are really strong conceptually but their arcs are kinda off. i think the rise of skywalker got majorly fucked by carrie fisher's death (rip :( ) because her role was supposed to be so central to it. and what they managed to shamble together made the rest of the films look worse in conjunction

​@@ciennaquidd6486 personally I feel they should have went for a Last Jedi type movie first, Star Wars had gotten very formulaic by the time Episode 7 came around so to play it so safe and practically add nothing of value to the canon was so disheartening. Star Wars needed a change, to be modernized but Disney and the Lucas execs were too scared to anger the fans or commit to radical changes like the Grey Jedi. So much potential wasted in the new characters as well, Finn got hit the hardest with practically doing nothing for most of the film's

I think the villains almost equal the heroes this time. Fantastic!

I'm so annoyed that they are keeping this content from us. Especially since Ahsoka was probably the biggest announcement aside from the new movies

I would be surprised if they try to re-write the story to jam Ahsoka in. I think we will just see a new adventure with these characters during the same time period of Heit to the Empire. I'm sure they will take great care to make sure not to retcon anything from the novel trilogy.

There's a good chance we get Luke back, probably in a minor/supporting role. Book of Boba Fett showed that Ashoka and him are in contact, so it would be a shame if they never made use of that relationship in this show.

Well, they also gotta factor in the canon story that's been written as well. Like, of you're going to do a canon Heir to the Empire with Thrawn, you gotta address what happened to Ezra now because of what they did in Rebels. And you also have the Grysk storyline from Thrawn's own canon books to consider too, especially since that story is the prime motivation for all of the enormous choices he's made for his life, and it's still as of yet, unresolved. His first loyalty has always been to his own people and the threat of the Grysks is still out there. So he will undoubtedly still have that in his head now that most of the Empire is gone.

@@christinaj.jensen4805 Yeah, this is one of the biggest roles any danish actor has ever gotten, internationally, and it’s so well deserved, Lars is easily one of the best danish actors, and his voice is just as iconic here in Denmark, cause of other work he’s done, but he’s gonna be great as Thrawn, no doubt about it.

Don't get me wrong this series looks like it's gonna be great but I'm getting tired of Dave trying to force Ahsoka into every aspect of star wars. Ahsoka is not and never will be the main charecter of star wars. Its Anakin & Lukes story.

It's not about 'forcing her' into anything. If Dave made a show about Luke or Anakin, half the fans would complain he's doing it wrong. TCW was Lucas' idea. And Ahsoka can tie together the PT, OT, TCW, so that we can move forward with Star Wars. All the sequels could do was regurgitate the OT. Ahsoka is there to replace Luke or Anakin, she's there to add another dimension to their story, by having a different perspective on the Jedi, and a different perspective on Anakin to Luke. That's how you deepen a story, just like how the prequels added context and depth to Luke's story, despite all the haters claiming, 'Star Wars is about Luke, not Anakin'. The clones, Thrawn, Ezra, Sabine and the Mandalorians all add to the saga, so there is something to continue after ROTJ.

@@darkshadowssonic She was in TCW because Lucas wanted Anakin to have a padawan. She survived Order 66, so it made sense she would be in Rebels. The Mandalorian, BoBF, Skeleton Crew and Ahsoka are all converging anyway. We knew this years ago. If they're going to have Luke post ROTJ, and Ahsoka is still alive, then a key question in the saga is, 'does Ahsoka know about Anakin's redemption, and does Luke know more about Anakin from Ahsoka?' The whole point is to connect PT and OT together. How many Jedi are there? Luke. And who else is there? Ahsoka and Ezra. If Ahsoka is going to have her own show, they need to introduce her to the people who never watch the animated shows - that's a lot of people. There are fans who just watch the movies and Mando, and don't know anything else. That's what they did with Mando S2 and BoBF. Her appearance in BoBF was pretty brief. And I'll take Ahsoka over any new characters in Andor, RO, Solo, Kenobi or the sequels, because they were all boring, with less potential. Ahsoka also makes it easier to bring in Ezra, Sabine, Hera and Thrawn.

only a false screen and reality is another. Lucas's movie is dead and it only remains to be seen if someone revives him. But it will only be possible if one day they listen to the fans who made Lucas's cinema grow. not to people who don't care about their movies or series. that they only care about themselves and their very outdated political agenda that nobody asked for.😞
