The way this episode moved even grown men and women to tears just hearing the words "hello snips". Dave filoni, you magnificent bastard😭😭😭 On a separate note, I'm really hoping this is a Kanan type force trial for her, because we're seeing more and more of her using dark side powers, it would make a massively impactful scene seeing her get closure

It was interesting to hear Baylan say “your legacy like your masters is one of death and destruction”. Like he blames Ashoka AND Anakin for the previous war and deaths of so many. Obviously Vader, but it seems like he blames Ashoka for Vaders birth because she left Anakin before he turned. Baylan is a super interesting character and I am so sad Ray passed because I need so much more of him.

This episode was fantastic. I was on the edge the entire time. It was clear that they will jump to the other galaxy eventually but when they actually did it felt like something really bad had just happened. The return of Thrawn really feels threatening. I like that. And the end... omg. I screamed a bit. I was so happy to see him. Rosario Dawson is fantastic as Ahsoka but in that moment, when she heard the voice of her Master, her expression really reminded me of TCW Ahsoka. I can't wait for next week

11:06-11:44 That was green smoke coming out of Marrok after Ahsoka slashed him. Since we know that Morgan Elsbeth is a Nightsister, she most likely enhanced him with magic. Back in TCW, the magic that altered Savage Opress' physical body faded away after Darth Sidious stabbed him. This episode was so crazy. I was especially shocked with the reveal that Sabine's biological family died on Mandalore possibly during the Purge and the final scene of Ahsoka meeting Anakin in the World Between Worlds.

My thoughts too. Essentially they died off screen. I'm wondering if Sabine wanted to go to them, but Ahsoka kept her from going (essentially Luke from ESB, but she chose to stay instead of go). The "your master didn't trust you" could be a reference to being told her training isn't complete and she needed to stay to complete it. Just a theory, not based on anything specific.

@@folcotook3049 That's what I was thinking as well. Ahsoka stopped her from going and Baylin is twisted that to mean "she didn't trust you." Hope we learn more about that as time goes on!

I want to hope this Anakin is post-death, post-Vader redeemed Anakin, and he is technically a ghost, but the World Between Worlds is a Force-realm so he can manifest as solid, because Ahsoka needs a familiar face, and the one who would be most effective to teach her something the Force needs her to learn.

Your running thoughts after, about Baylan, what if the "power" he wants to reach is _Ezra_ ? And the way to reach Ezra is to work with someone who is trying to reach Thrawn, because Ezra vanished with Thrawn? ...Further into your talk, if the "power" is the World Between Worlds... what if getting to Ezra is the key Baylan is seeking to get access to that? It would raise questions as to how Baylan knew about all this, because that would imply Baylan knew about the events in _Rebels_ and was looking into how everything went down there, to know about the oddities that happened, and how Ezra may have been involved.

First off, Shin flinched, no force from Sabine. I believe Baylan was just tapping in the dark side to read Sabine's mind. He's not some old jedi from years gone by; plus he knew of Anakin while in the Order. Also, we saw Shin tap into the dark side when she Force Choked Sabine as well.

Maybe Baylan was at the same age as Anakin at the end of Clone War. Maybe even fought him and 501st Clone Army at the Jedi Temple. Because Baylan did said "a few live to see what he had become". Not every Jedi know Anakin fall to the dark side, only close circle knew. Maybe that is why he had pity to kill Ahsoka.

I think Ashoka ended up inside the World Between Worlds is because she’s permanently connected to the Sister and I think when Ashoka started using the Dark Side in that fight, it drew the attention from the Brother and he grabbed her. I don’t think that’s Anakin at all. He seemed very dark and Vader’s music played at the very end. I think that was the Brother disguised as Anakin.

Ahsoka entered the World Between Worlds previously because Ezra pulled her into it. So, I'm wondering if someone (maybe Anakin) may have actually pulled her into it when she fell from the cliff OR maybe she fell into an unseen portal to the WBW. Can't wait to explore. In regards to Sabine's parents/brother, I'm assuming they died during the Night of 1000 Tears on Mandalore. Perhaps, Sabine wanted to go save them, Ahoska did not trust her judgement and stopped her? We need more background on that. Also, did anyone notice that Jacen is wearing Kanaan's armored shoulder pad/shield??

@Fandom Zone, 17:L45 Where's Sabine's helmet? I think Sabine isn't as foolish as we're being led to believe she is. Ahsoka told her before the battle that if they couldn't make the journey to the other galaxy no one should be able to go to the galaxy. Ahsoka knew before the fighting started that that was going to be a problem for Sabine, and that is why she tried to win her over. I think Sabine found an option C: leave her helmet behind to record the map. Sabine took a gamble trusting Baylon would honor his word, but she was willing to die to save Ezra. As long as her helmet recorded the map and gave the New Republic the map, she would have been okay with that decision, well, at least that's the way I see how this all went down.

Ahsoka uses the dark side so many times throughout this whole episode. She allows her attachment to Sabine to blind her in her fight with Baylan. Sabine as well was selfish for not shooting the map but it would not have done anything and would end up with her dead so at the end of the day giving Baylan the map was the best choice.

Ah as always Trent and Julia’s reactions are the best! I always look forward to watching you both! I feel like I could spend hours geeking out on this. I would like to amend my previous theory about Baylan and Shin. Last week I mentioned that they might find themselves trapped in another galaxy with no way back because the crew of the ghost would stop them while they fight Thrawn. But based on what we’ve seen this week it looks like Baylan and Shin want to start anew in another galaxy, far from any influence of the New Republic or indeed any form of government. They’re migrating. So my theory now is that it’s not Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra who form a new Jedi order it’s Baylan and Shin who seek to form an order. Now imagine if Rey seeks out this New Order thinking it’s legit and it bring her in to conflict with Ahsoka and the crew! That would be interesting.

@@zamhobby9662 I mean you have a point, the way I see it they’ve painted sequel trilogy characters into a corner. But from what I’ve heard they’d like to bring Rey back and keen to find ways to continue her story. Dave may not have a choice or because he’s had so much success he may well have been asked to “fix” their mistakes and clean up their mess. Of course I am merely speculating, or they could be a compromise where they start putting Dave’s characters front and centre as a way to reboot starwars films with new characters. Anyway I like speculating and the Sequel Trilogy doesn’t really bother me that much.

I don't think that the world between worlds is connected to the other galaxy. We probably get some wholesome moments with Anakin and Snipps in the next episode and then some purrgle action. I don't have a idea where Hera will go - but I would love to see Ezra train Jacen. The great question is what is the development between Sabine and Ashoka - now Sabine has to reflect on her behaviour and kindof life with her guilt.
