They didn't really damage the ship. That's just a little vapor from the heat attracting all the moisture in the area. Space works differently in Star Wars. You won't freeze to death immediately because atmospheric gases are throughout systems and mostly everywhere except hyperlanes.

The theory that Marroc is Ezra doesn't make any sense at all. The bad guys are looking for Thrawn. Ezra was with Thrawn. They'd already have found Thrawn if they found Ezra.

Marrok is just another fallen order 66 Padawan turned Inquisitor. If it is anyone we know it is someone for a fan service call back but not a huge plot point. My guess is Pedro (edit: Petro) - who has brief ties to Ashoka and Huyang.

It also would not make sense from an Ezra story-arc perspective since Ezra was already tempted by the dark side in Rebels and he overcame it. If Ezra went dark side now it really would not make sense and would completely ruin that Rebels arc.

As sad as Ray's passing is, Baylan's death would be perfect for the series; plus it would most definitely be a catalyst for whatever comes next, esp. for Shin and Marrork. It would be so tragic, if Baylan Skoll were meant to continue on in The Mandoverse, and Filoni and Favreau had to alter course, a la Carrie Fisher in The ST.

I LOVED this episode. It was a bold move by Dave to bring back those old lore established by George himself, like the fact that everyone can use the Force but it takes a huge amount of Training and Discipline to master it. And of course that badass zero gravity lightsaber scene. I love this man. If you are a hardcore SW fan, there's no way you don't like these stuff. And for those who wants to know more about the lore of the OG Trilogy, established by George Lucas, I highly recommend you to read "The Star Wars Archives. 1977-1983" by "Paul Duncan".

KRIFF YES!!!!! The space walk/distracting Shin and her fighters with her sabers out in space brings me so much clone wars vibes, and the training sequences with the shinai swords is kendo at its very best. Kyle and Bendu, plus Blind Wave are one of my go to channels for Star Wars content. Plus, the way Sabine recited the line from Luke when he was training under Obi-Wan puts a smile to my face, and the training swords are so much like Kendo.

On a separate note, considering Marrok can be literally everyone and anyone acording to theories, i'm just gonna say he's Exar-Kun because why not.

Best Ezra/Marrok theory I've heard was briefly mentioned by Eric and Rick but not elaborated on, I guess they didn't see the theory I saw: The Arthurian character of Marock was a trusted bodyguard who was captured and brainwashed by evil sorceress Morgain La Fey to turn against his former comrades. Now we have Marrok, in the company of a Nightsister named Morgan Elsbeth. Also given how he had just put everything into mind melding with a bunch of space whales and saving Lothal, I can believe Ezra would have been vulnerable enough to be captured by the remaining Imperials on Thrawn's ship. The Pergills would have got to their destination, and (according to another theory I read) the Emperor was so pissed off with Thrawn that he banished him, after the battle and Ezra's capture, but before he went on a walkabout to another galaxy.

I love awesome training scenes, and this might become one of my favorites! Not only does it feel like so many classic samurai films (especially with the blind samurai training) it also proves that Ahsoka isn’t training Sabine to be a Jedi, but a better version of herself. Though it would be really awesome of Sabine became the first Mandalorian Jedi in nearly a thousand years! As for the Senate committee, as much as I hate the old trope of “there isn’t enough evidence to support your crazy theory”, how many times throughout modern history has this happened, where a majority of politicians and government officials either don’t believe or don’t WANT to believe a long believed dead or weakened enemy has come back? Still seeing Jacen talking with Mama Hera about AUNT Sabine made my heart melt! Also, Ahsoka going out into space to fight starfighters with just her lightsabers is exactly the crazy ass thing Anakin would do with Ahsoka if you’ve seen Clone Wars!
