આખરે આજે અષાઢી બીજનો એ પાવન અવસર આવી ગયો છે. જેની સૌ કોઈ આખું વર્ષ રાહ જોતા હોય છે. અમદાવાદ શહેરમાં આજે ભગવાન જગન્નાથની 147મી રથયાત્રા નીકળી ચૂકી છે. આજે જગતના નાથ સામે ચાલીને નગરચર્યાએ નીકળ્યા અને ભક્તોને દર્શન આપી રહ્યાં છે. સવારે 4 વાગ્યે જગતના નાથની મંગળા આરતી કરવામાં આવી. અમદાવાદની રથયાત્રાનો કુલ રૂટ 16 કિમી લાંબો છે. અમદાવાદની રથયાત્રામાં રાજ્યના મુખ્યમંત્રી પહિંદ વિધિ કરીને રથ ખેંચ્યો હતો.
