i kept on rewinding the part at 3:58 when you snorted in response to what the oud player did. it was such a cool musical moment. great video!

His Daf style reminds me of Glen Velez. My grandfather played the Oud. Too bad he didn't live long enough so his grandchildren could have enjoyed his companionship and musicianship. He studied cello in Russia. His brother went on to become a well known composer. Some of his music is on youtube.

This is just great work. I can't relate to Middle Eastern music with singing but this is really good.
