This recipe is a twist on an old fashioned - traditionally a whiskey cocktail. It uses a silver tequila (Tierras), which I soak in coffee beans. I use a dark roast coffee, but you can play with different flavor combinations, depending how you enjoy your coffee. I smoke the glass by lighting some cedar wood chips on fire and placing the glass on top before I add the coffee-infused tequila, orange bitters and a splash of club soda.
