I love this video. I watched it countless times with a great sadness, watching the innocence and boisterous boys on the cusp of manhood. They would have been coached and taught their self worth and that of their community. Colonialism destroyed our past and our future. Only the Gikuyu can reclaim what we lost. Please teach them all these songs but also the morals and selfworth. The need to speak their mother tongue. Colonialists only speak their language only we Africans speak the language of the coloniser.
