if you come to Armenia again and visit Gyumri, go to a restaurant called Cherkezi dzor, there you can try fish and caviar prepared by them.

I've visited Georgia 5 times and each time I notice the uneven service. There were many times I ordered several dishes and one came out much later than the others; often I didn't want it anymore at that point. Many restaurants have no clue how to time the service. The dishes just come out whenever they're ready without any planning on the chef's part. There's no excuse for a salad and compote to come out after you've finished eating a fish.

That was kind of scam but, Youare a champ Justin 👍👍👍

Actually, it was not a scam, this is how service in Georgia looks like ))) You can wait for your orden 30 minutes or even 1 hour if restaurant is full of clients. :D

Very strange pretension as for me. Not all countries have the same standards of service. I don't mean that some standards are low, they are just different. Many people just don't care if they have to eat a salad a bit later than fish. You may not like it but it's better to pay because people have done their job.

even so many years after the soviet union in Georgia we still use (unfortunately) many russian words/slangs, so Balagan has a same meaning for us as well "a mess", situation of place full of chaos :D

There are Russian places in the U.S. that are run in similar soviet style, where service only arrives with the bill.

They say everything is local, but its a lie . In fact, everything in fish market is imported from Turkey

Nice looking fish the food must have made up for the service problem. Imagine what that would cost in U.K. 😊

INTERESTING, WHAT S A PRICE OF STERGENT ????

This is a problem in Georgia. They bring you food whenever its ready. You can get main food then desert , then appetisers. Everything is mixed up and messed up. Its very frustrating when you eat with group of friends and you all order at the same time but you get food in different times. So one is already finished eating and another didn't even get his appetiser. If you wouldn't be a youtuber, they would get much more aggressive. They only handled this situation in somewhat better way , because you were filming.

Great vid mate, was it a `genuine `mistake or were they trying to rip you off, deciding that being viewed on KZread, not to take the act any further?

Bruh what you think this is, It's a Restaurant, not some Local Vendor, those places are legally registered, they can't scam people, everyone pays the same price. the waitress just messed up by delivering late, which happens a lot cause our service is quite bad.

I think you understood that the lady at the end was on your side (as you thanked her) but still want to make clear what she said to waitress at 9:27 "if you were late he wont pay for it, 15 minutes is too much he had already finished the fish" then waitress kinda says an excuse that last table was just taken (indicating that restaurant was full I think) but again second lady tells her it doesnt matter. dont know what`s her position in restaurant but she knows how to run a business. some1 will say to just pay that 10-15$ and not make a scene but restaurant should also know how to do business and satisfy (cost for the restaurant would be so tiny for that) the guest so he/she might come again next day and order 10 times more. it`s not always like that, for example Khinkali on one day they brought very fast, but on other we got it after we`ve finished khachaburi , kebab and all drinks :D it took so long I could make it from scratch on my own :D once it`s delicious and after 1-2 weeks it was so terrible i`ve not even finished.( all this in same branch of zodiaco in Tbilisi) we just lack consistency :D

I assume Armenians welcome tourists because they are naturally peacable and enjoy greeting foreigners. But the majority of Georgians are looking for tourists' money. If a Georgian suspects a particular tourist is not going to buy one of their products they get rude.

@@J.E.E I think its more because the owner is paying very bad, thats why in Georgia mostly young people (students) work in restaurants. You can literally feel that they are not experienced and have also no motivation. The balkans have the best service for sure

Unfortunately - service in Georgia sucks!!! Hospitality -means nothing -when no service is!!! Я закончил колледж по ресторанному и гостиничному бизнесу! Я бы мог и хочу помочь ну как то наладить и устранить быдловство и хамство..Которое всё ещё живёт в Грузии!!!
