Agents of Innovation - Dr. John Kuehn

Dr. John Kuehn joined us at the Institute to discuss his book, Agents of Innovation, covering the influence of the General Board of the U.S. Navy as an agent of innovation in the years between World Wars I and II.
The General Board helped navigate the balance between fleet design and treaty limitations in these crucial interwar years, creating a so-called “treaty fleet” that managed to fight the Japanese to a standstill in 1942.
