​@@dan8er709 I apologize for my broken English. Yes, he is essentially Kane. But... Perhaps the creators of this cartoon wanted to show a happy ending to the story for the Spider-Man clone. I haven't read the comics, but I know that clones almost always face either grief or death. In this series, Spidey's clone gets his happy ending, with family and friends who love him and don't care about his past, origins, or inhuman nature. Peter and Aunt May accepted him as their own from the beginning. And the name became a symbol of their acceptance. The name of the person most dear to them.

Ah yes I remember their dynamic giving me a laugh a few times when watching this show. In fact their friendly rivalry is what inused for my takes on Flash and Kaine in my own Marvel AU

They have a really entertaining dynamic

yeah, I feel like a lot of the time people tend to hate on it more than deserved. bc while think this isn't the best SM show, it's not the worst..and personally I rlly enjoyed season 4

@@ScarletReillys Personally my favorite era was seasons 1-2 because I really enjoyed the dynamic between the awesome team, Honestly I wouldn't mind to see that alineation again in a future project(Spidey, Tiger, Luke, Danny & Nova)

Whats fun about this is this is indeed quite similar to Eddie's and Ben's actual dynmatic in the comics. Now taking Eddie's and Kaine's traits and splitting them between Harry, Flash (for Eddie/Venom) and Ben (for Kaine) is indeed odd and not ideal but to give credit where credit is due, this is like the one cartoon to reference Eddie's comics and keep Venom as one of the heroes of the arc they are referencing instead of making Venom the main villain of the plot they stopped in the comics. (For those who are interested the episodes I'm talking about are the "The Symbiote Saga")

2:01 OBJECTIVELY THE BEST ADAPTATION of Flash Thomapone ever made, & that's not on debate

I hate how Scarlet Spider betrayed the team and exposed Spider-Man's identity to all his villains but got forgiven just because he saved the city last minute just because he genuinely only cared about Aunt May 😑

The only way I personally would have ever welcomed a 5th season of this show, is if they finally introduced Eddie Brock and had him become Toxin like he briefly was in the comics while this show was on the air. They utterly wore out this Harry Venom thing in previous seasons so slapping Toxin on Harry Osborn too would be Lazy, repitive and boring.

Which reminds me, Essentially Harry has always been the successor of becoming the next Green Goblin because of Norman, Nowadays he kinda steals most of characters's identities in terms of villainy or anti-heroes, Like Venom, It was Eddie Brock's usual gag for his character along with Anti-Venom and the symbiote stuffs. In this case Harry steals the spotlight by at first being the "Black Suited Spiderman" to Venom, Then he becamed Anti-Venom afterwards. And in Spider-Man 2 game, Not only does Harry reprises the role of Venom, But he also stole the look from Flash's Agent Venom look before he actually becomes Venom, It's like they are retconing Harry and Eddie's characters that Harry is no longer the next Goblin but now the Venom carrier while Eddie is irrelevant, non-existing whatsoever while never making Eddie to someone else...
