I strongly disagree about treelord ancient being tier 3. He is 100% an autoinclude tier 1 because of his free wyldwood summon and command ability.

While being cheaper than dryads i think tree-revs bring so much more to the table, i definitely cannot see them being the same tier as spite-revs. One of those units warps how the opponent has to play just by fulfilling your battleline, while the other is only good for giving you 10 extra points to spend on something else.

Agreed. Tree Rev utility with the teleport/6'' pile in/re-roll dice should at least be higher than the spite revs.

I think you are missing out on the TLA spirit song. When he and some hunters are spread right, your whole army gains +1 save, and in a world of rend, that extra save is key.

Upon retrospect yea I think I’m undervaluing the TLA. Definitively has some good value

I do disagree on a few points. Tree Revs are legitimately amazing for claiming objectives and riposting. They’re going to die in one hit, but they’ve also got the potential to make your opponents waste their attack letting Durthu get in without getting bracketed if he doesn’t get a Stomp to go off. And if you take a unit of 10 Tree Revs, they have okay survivability, and are a great threat. I always take them as battleline, so they are T1 for me. Durthu has the best melee attack in the army, and TLA is the perfect support following behind him. They both outclass Drycha, as much as I love her with how cool she looks, I think she’s a T2 and TLA/Durthu are T1. TLA’s ability to give a +1 to the whole army (if Kurnoths are there to boost the aoe) makes All Out Defense look lowly, and AOD is a great command. Give TLA an Acorn of the Ages, T1 he can whip out 9 additional trees, allowing himself and Durthu free teleporting all over the board. He’s just a great general.

Hey! great video, I just started a Sylvaneth army, have two start collecting boxes, 6 kurnoth hunters, a warsong revenant and an arch revenant, can you recommend me a good list without Alarielle? most lists online have he but its an expensive model and I haven got around to get her yet

I always enjoy your videos but completely disagree with the list. Warsong and tree revs are pretty much our only tier 1. All the hunters, durthu, beanchwych and TLA are tier 2. Drycha, archrev, TL, dryads, and spites are tier 3....then the lowly wraith. Drycha is too fragile to be high tier. She was much better in 2.0. I do want to try her in a Dreadwood list where you can keep her back and then teleport her in to snipe a unit but she will probably die or be bracketed enough she won't be worth her points soon after.

How are Tree Revs tier 3? Arguably one of the best teleport abilities in the game which is super valuable in AoS 3.0

Why do you think only 2 tree units can teleport per turn? Rule reads like every single treelord, warsong revenant and treelord ancient can do it, in the same turn.

Have you tried the Oakenbrown glade? Treekin dont bracket. Also, Trying to think of the best way to defeat Teclis and Archeon without magic?

I havnt tried oakenbrow yet, they still bracket just less. I think there are better options. To defeat archeon is to just feed him chaff the whole game, you most likely won’t be able to kill him so just keep him busy. Teclis is hard to beat without magic. But similar story.

Avoid archeon! Take out his support pieces and play the objective game. Teclis isn't actually that bad if you can get Into him especially if you can bracket him. The tougher part of lumineth is getting to him with blocks of sentinels shooting you down. If you can spread out and make them break their castle you could have success but LRL has all the answers for our army.

I can certainly put it on the list! I don’t know as much about Lumineth as I do Sylvaneth so it might take a little longer, but I’ll get around to it eventually!

Bows are T1 for sure. Mathmallow has shown it to be true.

@@iconicchronic3084mathmellow is a player. Get the bows to work by being with 9” from a wizard so you can reroll rolls of 1. Also alarielle will let you reroll wounds.

do you think sylvaneth will get a new battletome any time soon?

For me, having a "Caleb Hastings" for Sylvaneth would be ideal.
