AOE 4 has the potential to win our hearts not only for it is a 3D game but also for mimicking AOE2 game mechanics and positively improving a few of them such:
♟️ Scouts can hunt deer and bring them back to Town center (instead of only luring)
♟️ Access to more technologies and units in the Dark age, providing this latter with more flexibility versatility.
♟️ Pathing is greatly improved thanks to the 3D engine it is built on (AOE2 pathing has always been disappointing).
♟️ And more to discover in the upcoming days.
