First off console players play a bit different and its fun it doesn’t have to be all “pc meta”. Watching Hera and viper screwed me over because almost everyone on console at 1000-1300 elo build a castle minutes after castle age if you watch the PC pros they wait till like mid imperial age. Which I’m sure I could take advantage of having a better eco but it does no good when you are having two castles dropped on your face with no stone to hold them back with your own castle.

Auto scout is horrendous... Only use it after finding the 4 straggler sheep, at least 2 wood lines, main gold and stone, the 2 boars, AND the enemy base. Only then would I ever trust auto scout. There's never anything interesting in the east corner. Never.

If anyone is interested in learning on the xbox version, let me know GeMiNi DReDD I am currently sat in the top 10 leaderboards for ranked teams, top 50 in solos. Im not the best, I just understand the game. This is xbox leaderboards not PC.

Select your scout and press Y

Please mention the console setting, scrolling is best on 15 and turn auto clip off for smoother placement of builds etc 🤘

Goths or Britons, Goths are very good infantry based civ, once in Castle age you can just pump out infantry out your barracks every 3 seconds I think. With the Britons, they are archer based, preferably longbowman when in Castle age, they also have splash damage with there trebuchet.

If you want to go cavalry, Frank's are brilliant for it, in my opinion though cavalry can be expensive.
