Age Calculator Tutorial In Microsoft Excel | Use DATEDIF Function with Date of Birth

Just the other day, I needed to calculate ages for several people based on their date of birth. Rather than doing this manually, I set up an Excel spreadsheet and made use of the DATEDIF function to do the work for me. Let me show you how!
In a hands-on demo, I’ll show you:

Thanks for sharing! Can this formula be inserted in an excel form?

Hi John! Yes, you can definitely use these formulas with Excel forms. The formula doesn't actually calculate on the form itself when you're entering a new record. But if you input the data in the form and hit Enter, the age will calculate when the new record is created in the table (which powers the form). And then you can also view the calculated age in the form afterwards if you scroll through the existing records using the form. Hope this makes sense? A little hard to explain without screenshots!
