I can never get over how much Agafia smiles. She never stops smiling. Even with her age and health issues, her willpower and strength is phenomenal. Everyone has so much to learn from the amazing woman. Her knowledge of the land where she lives should not be underestimated, it needs to be taught to others and recorded for the future. This is an Anthropologists dream. I wish her peace, health and a fruitful life. Keep smiling that beautiful contagious smile that has reached here in the Britain!!❤️

Although I am agnostic and quite far from religion, it’s impossible to argue with the fact that Agafya is a wonderful person who carefully preserves the traditions of her family and lives a pure and bright life. Thanks to her for the wonderful example, I wish her health and long life. And many thanks to volunteers who come to her too. Best wishes everyone ^ _ ^

Jesus said do not judge people or else u will get judge in heaven...so i think u need to read bible properly and if this kind of video promote false gospel then why u are here watching this in the first place. To be fair, she had no choice in choosing this life. She was a child when her family got here and living in solitary for so long it’s kind difficult to go back to civilisation

I cried watching the last minutes of the movie, a great, tolerant and kind woman who has lived alone in the harsh taiga for more than 40 years, there are many people in Russia and other countries all over the world come here and she is friendly to anyone who comes here, she doesn't treat them as strangers but is very friendly as if she has known them for a long time. It's a bit early to say this now, but she deserves to be canonized.

The film is shot very high quality and professional! Health and strength to Agafya Lykova!

Movies about archaic beliefs are not the ones in my list, but this one is impressive about starovers (old orthodoxes) and their philosophy. Life full of Love and belief. I used to know some of the starovers in US. Was proud to be friends with these descent and hardworking people. Thanx to authors, this woman is wonderful. Taiga is harsh place to live and survive. I guess, her religion and love is the essential energy that drives her life in the forest. Many of us could reconsider our values just having examples like this one.
