That's exactly what a great song does. It transcends the limitations of language, region and genre. It's really great that someone from the US appreciates this. Undoubtedly the US has greatest number of musicians in the world. Talk of Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, John Denver and I mention but a few. This song speaks of hope, courage and contentment in midst of hardship. He says in the chorus, and I paraphrase: If there's nothing for me on this earth, there's a place where we shall all be equal you and I. I'll keep waiting, just like this until my time finds me. In the last chorus he sings: It's not that I choose to live with hardship, I'm only asking that you give me what's enough for me. I do not desire what others have, just give me what's enough for me. But if and I end up not having anything on this earth, that's alright with me.
