Hypocrisy is insane. Look at how many people make fun of Maguire and will continue to do so after Dele's interview. Then if Maguire comes out talking about mental health problems, everyone will wish him the best and say that they're with him. Weird as hell.

Nah, Maguire off the field is clean, if you remember before he's 19, there's a documentary about him on YT from 6 y/o to 17 y/o.

Also, the commenters I've seen praising Dele then calling Harriet Robson and others like her liars and grifters, when in reality these women are suffering abuse and coercion that is keeping them trapped with dangerous men (footballers). It's disgusting.

If Maguire comes out and says he was fiddled as a youngster, dealing drugs at the age of 8, etc, then you'd be right. Reality is, any mental health problems Maguire is or has gone through is related to football alone. Comparing Alli and Maguire is ludicrous

I wonder if seeing the rise of Jude Bellingham is a factor on his me tal health? Bellingham not only seems to be having the career Alli was supposed to be having but also the family structure I guess he craves. Wish him nothing but the best. For all those that have a family they take for granted, look at a multimillion telling you you're richer than you realise.

What happened to him is sad, but his story is not the example we need. I mean look at Kevin De Bruyne, went through similar things and camr out the other side on top. Great role model.

I think it’s important to show people who are going through things that there are prominent figures who *don’t* handle similar pressure perfectly. If you’ve been struggling and all you’ve got as a reference point is KDB who has handled his upbringing in a manner than very few could it makes people who are already teetering on the edge feel like a failure. KDB is an inspiration and Dele is relatable, they’re both very important yardsticks as examples go.

I’m Sorry mate De Bruyne didn’t go through what Dele went through, not saying it was easy but dele’s mum was an addict and neglected him, he was out selling drugs at primary school age. It’s not the same. De Bruyne’s dad had a successful business, come on mate.

Mate people go through way worst stuff in life in third world countries, it's not an excuse Dele Alli is more than fortunate to get the paycheck he's already getting. Stop making excuses, it's just when a popular personality speaks on something likes that everyone jumps to support him. Absolutely bs. Players from Africa go through worst childhood and still come through, this brudda making excuses as usual.
