I just hate seeing a mother be treated as if she is an unforgivable monster, when in almost every AU William abused Michael and was forgiven after apologizing once. It makes me upset that someone who did something as vile as murdering several children is forgiven from his crimes just because he has weak pull out game and said "srry I hit u as a kid lol". "I forgive you dad" It feels hypocritical and mocking to those of us that had shitty parents that were either physically or mentally abusive to their children. My own father liked to gaslight me and my sisters all the time about our bodies and how we looked. I just hate to see such a serious topic be ignored and treated like a joke.
