In how many capitals in the world can you drive such a distance and see so little trash! Each single individual person you passed did NOT throw anything on the street. Danes environmental thinking goes beyond what many understand. Watching this clip gave an insight into why Denmark did so well during the pandemic. If people collectively can agree not to throw trash, they also collectively can agree on social distancing and high personal hygiene precautions, for a period, during a pandemic. I noted several bicycle shops along the way but did not see a single car dealership.

When I compare this to my city Hamburg, which claims to be a bicycle city, we are still light years behind this infrastructure. I hope we will catch up some day in my lifetime.

It was chaotic at times. I'm getting old and I would have caused so many accidents just because the cycling style is so different to England.

@@brenoe They for me who's (English and) getting old are going quite fast. I tend to pre-empt people doing silly things so I tend to give way much more. I would get people cycling into the back of me. Different countries/cultures has different road styles.
