What a wild ride of chapters the last few weeks. I really hope Denji will be okay, he doesnt know how much Asa cares for him yet, The War Devils words could seriously mess with his head, if he begins thinking that Asa will end up using him like characters in part 1. This could make for some SPICY drama before they both admit they like each other. CSM needs to chill tbh it takes me like 10+ minutes to read a chapter because I cant stop laughing. I knew part two would be good early on, but now things are really coming together towards multiple climaxs

Denji is used to being used and manipulated. Denji and Asa will still like each other, but this is going to cause problems for Denji. Both of them have been abused if different ways, its going to be amazing if they learn to support each other.

EDIT : I just saw on twitter that the word used in japanese is not really "slut" but a word that means both with promiscuous and molester. While the word can be translated to "slut", it loses an important meaning in western connotation. The scene of Asa hitting yoru is funny but also not since it's essentially Asa comitting self harm to deal with what happened. Asa internalising shame of all things, fearing being seen as a "slut" from what happened is so sad but real. Victims of sexual assaults especially women in society are prenurtured to think of themselves as "sluts" at any sexual act even stuff like rape through the perception of others. So Asa's fear being that she will be thought of as a slut and internalising that shame instead of seeing that she's a victim in this is so nuanced & sad.

I'm gonna be honest I thought that denji was gonna just start bawling about everything. Power, aki, nayuta and even makima to some extent. But I thought asa was gonna have to stow away her own feelings towards yoru and she was gonna have to support denji. But I also like the way it played out cause I feel like the way I thought of would have "wrapped it up" too well

If you read this as a movie it makes much more sense. The pacing, action, paneling, and cinematography is top notch. Not to mention the story ramifications, we're nearing 3rd act.

Asaden... but at what cost? Denji feeling confused and used again, probably reliving traumas. Asa feeling horrible and guilty for something he didn't do (if I took it from "hidding in public")

loved these 2 chapters together, very cool

I actually think this is pretty happy chapter. The scene of denji in the ally is framed with light and i think that shows hes happy. Yoru said asa likes him and i think denji is happily processing that

the fact that i find the previous chapter funny just shows how much of an alien i am in this world

The great contrast between Deni and Asa they are both cautious of people because both suffered though in different ways but still by the same hands of society they both have trauma of some sort, I'm getting into the part 2 more than in part 1 because I'd like to see how these two grow through out the coming chapters and how Fujimoto will plan this out, Yoru is like Asa's Pochita in a way, Denji wanting deeper connections with people while Asa don't trust and like people and very cautious around them, I mean we got to the chapter where she's literally ready to die but Denji saved her..

The last chapter was the first chapter I’ve read of part 2, I only read it because of all the hype, but at least I can watch your videos on it. I was holding off because I thought I’d read it again at some point and didn’t want to get spoiled. But at this stage it’ll probably be years before I get to it, I’ve so much other stuff it’ll be at least a year, probably more before I get to it.
