i always buy 2nd hand lcds and never had problems with them + they are cheaper as aftermarket ones

You make a very good point, for some things in life the generic is not as good as the thing it tries to copy. But I wonder what the price difference was between the screen you purchased, a new original and a used original. That information would help to make your point more solid. I think what you call opinion can be a fact, what is true is true: a fact. You videos are always very useful. I have built PC desktops since the 90's but laptops scare the crap out of me. Your videos really help. Thank you for helping cautious guys like me. Ciao bello.

You are 100% right. My aftermarket display was about 60$ including shipping (now I see it listed at 105$). An original second-hand display was listed in my country at that moment at about 70$ (there is none listed in my country at this moment). An original new display is not listed now anywhere and the ones from ebay that say "original" are aftermarket, because one of them, for example, has this text in the listing: "If the brand listed is not available, then we will ship any of the following brands AU Optronics Chi Mei Innolux HannStart LG Philips Samsung Toshiba Sharp". But from my experience, a new original one is about double the price of the aftermarket, so about 120$ or even more, but sadly, I don't have an exact price in this situation.

Hi , I had my laptop screen replaced under warranty after horizontal lines problem. But now after replacement, I feel the quality of screen is low... Before my screen was glossy and reflective, like I can see my reflection also.. But now it looks like matt, and translucent.. Also a bluish tint is there and it's very bright... What's the issue sir

Well....now you have a different brand/model screen. Most laptops come in more than one screen configuration. They did not check what yours was and put in whatever they had arround.
