Beautiful conversation. I loved the directed questioning about each of the most memorable characters in the Novel. To hear the impressions of the interviewer and the author about each subject, made me change so much the initial understanding I had of the book as a Latinoamerican reader, not particularly aware of the African history. Thanks you so much for this!

By the way, can you put down the name of the film about an man Abdulrazak Gurnah mentioned? I couldn’t capture correctly the name: The Bayoubi story? And the filmmaker’s name as well?
