I was freaking out because I have so much to do. School, work, internship, a broken heart from a breakup and not enough time. I started looking for something that would help me focus. Then I stumbled upon your page because of Pulse8. 'Afterglow' started playing and I instantly knew that this would help me. You know why? Same three notes as the beginning of the theme of The Last of Us. Different key probably, but same notes within the relative key, in a different order.

I still come back to this mix in 2024. Somehow hit the nail on the head with this particular selection in this particular order.

I'd equate it to being able to step outside of yourself, for even a second. If you can get a glimpse of the notion that you're one with everything and that your problems don't really exist, you feel zen for pretty much the rest of the day after you get the glimpse. Haha Some people need to see it a lot to finally let go of worry. Some people only need it once. Some people already get it, and some people never will. Much love to all.

yeah, i listened to this when it was new, after that i eventually lost it. i have literally been looking for years and i just found it a few hours ago.

I'm an illustrator and I'm working on 6 different projects due next week. I have my largest convention of the year where I'll be selling these works next weekend, I'm literally about to sign off on a car Monday, and I JUST found out that a deadline for a large poster is also due the Monday AFTER the convention! I haven't straight-up cooked for 2 1/2 weeks, I forgot to eat multiple times throughout the week, I work full time, and I'm stressin' HARD. This is mix literally made me realize why I love illustration and why I love making what I do. No matter the crazy deadlines, or if my stomach is turned upside down, or when I sleep at 2am and wake up at 6am. I feel like I can literally accomplish everything I've set my mind to. Thank you.

I lost my precious sweet dog to cancer in March 12th, and I used to play these beautiful mixes for us. Trying to keep her calm and lessen her pain I found this music helped. I hope none of you out there have to go through the heart wrenching, pain and loss of a precious dying pet. My heart feels like I will never feel normal again. Whatever normal is in this crazy messed up world 🌎

After so many years, it is still in my heart. *I love it. It helped me when I was at the end, when I was depressed, when I saw no way out.* I heard it every day, several times a day. Thank you so much, it changed my life, I mean that. No joke. Thank you so much.

@@pedro_a_martins 1001 was a well known and respected member of the VRChat community, known for his talent when working with shaders and making very popular worlds. One such world is Treehouse In The Shade, and features this exact playlist. It is a very beautiful world and many users adore it. It was my personal home world for about a year. Unforntunately he died, and is still sorerly missed by the community. The similarities do suggest that the original comment was likely about 1001. The world still exists today, and is even featured on the VRChat steam store page if you're curious. It's a piece of 1001's personality forever preserved in virtual space of its own.

I'm a fantasy author and I've got my characters walking through a moorland like area called the Direlands. I have this playing along with howling wind sounds (on lower volume), to help me visualise. Its amazing what great music can do for the mind. Thanks guys!

Came here from VRChat... came back to a world I used to chill with my friends and many other people. Now.....it’s like empty and feels sad Lowkey. I stand with the glowing aurora sea and plus with the music feels more nostalgic. Honestly miss the good ass times back in 2018-2019, there’s pretty much only 1 friend on there that I still talk to and keeps in touch with me but the others are offline and haven’t seen them since....guess you could say they are missing in action....lost but not forgotten..

There’s an amazing creator who went by 1001 who used this mix in what may be (IMO) one of the coolest worlds on the game VRchat, called “A treehouse in the shade”. I visit it often and always find new people there who are floored by the many different landscapes you can explore and fly through. I had never met 1001 before but felt deeply saddened last year when I heard that he had passed away. If you get the chance, I highly recommend checking his work out, he was clearly incredibly talented and brought a lot of wonderful experiences to strangers on the internet. Thank you, 1001. I had a very high LSD trip while hanging out in a private instance of Treehouse in the Shade in VrChat. I set the background to the seascape and watched so many beautiful and scary things morph from the patterns in the water while the first song in this mix played. It was amazing.
