In Thailand, there was a boy whose father was murdered but the culprit got away, never was identified. The boy grew up to be a police and investigated his father's murder case. He spent years trying to find the murderer. He finally caught his father's killer just a few days before his father's case would be expired (I forget the word 😅). I really hope this would be turned into a movie, but it would show how incompetent the Thai police was, so I guess it would just be a story on a newspaper forever. His name is อัษฎาวุฒิ มากประดิษฐ์ I think his English name would be something like: Asawut Makpradit. He got interviewed by a famous news program called 'โหนกระแส Hon Kra Sae'. It was uploaded to YT but everything is in Thai and has no cc, so I didn't try to attach the link here.

The sidekick's character was so wholesome in the series...this is by far my top favorite Joohyuk's drama ever

UK here.. ive been locked up innocent, on camera other places when the crimes happened yet it still took 6 months for them to drop the charges. while in there, baring in mind my solicitor kept saying i was going to get minimum of 14 years. i saw people that had run people over and killed them doing 4 years. rapists getting out after 12 months its sickening..

This similar story happened in the Philippines long time ago. His nane is Ben they alyas him Ben Tambling means can roll and jump high and hard to catch him. Before he in an ordinary trycicle pedicab driver but cruel cirrupt policemen group catch him and punished him for a fault he did not do. And rape his wife by the policemen infront of him. Thats the cause and reason that he put the law in his hands. He killed rapist or bandits cruel people and killed abused policemen. One by one he hunt and killed them. But the mayir of Malabon put big amount over his head that cost his death. But for Malabon people they all love and respect him called him The Robinhood of Malabon. On his funeral day most malabon residents attend the funeral dates to show respect

THE MANGA GOT A LIVE ADAPTATION?????? The manga was pretty good, just started the video, but I hope they can do the other characters perfectly. 6:32 I’m not sure about the official translation, but in the English version the message was about the criminal saying he’s sorry and ‘heaven’s net’ which eventually becomes the signature trademark of the Vigilante.

My favorite kind of K-Dramas are the ones that do a lot of action! Like a Korean version of other location's examples such as Takashi Miike's Like a Dragon (Japan), Jackie Chan and Edward Tang's Police Story (Hong Kong), and John McTiernan's Die Hard (USA)

@koreancowboy42 I mean it is hard to tell if it is just a hella generic storyline, but after rewatching Death Note, it feels heavily inspired. However, they took more a realistic true-crime approach. It is hard to tell an original story this days, but it feels like a ton of the plot points getting covered in this vid, line up with the plot of Death Note. Even the characters themselves behave all so similarly to their Death Note inspired counterparts. I don't get why they turned L and Light's dad into the same character but hey...

Season 2 needs to come out.

The length of punishment for heinous crimes in Korea is a severely lacking. Found a few videos on SA perpetrators who only had about a year and a half max jail time? It doesn't let the victim feel safe at all
