Wandering around Greenwich Village at night in the 80's, listening to this on my walkman, feeling as otherworldly as one can be without using drugs. Hearing it now, I'm there again.

Most of the day, we were at the machinery In the dark sheds that the seasons ignored I held the levers that guided the signals to the radio But the words I received, random code, broken fragments from before Out in the trees, my reason deserting me Oh, the dark stars cluster over the bay then in a certain moment, I lose control And at last, I am part of the machinery Where are you? And the light disappears As the word makes its circle through the sky

Have not heard this in decades. Not sure what brought it into my head tonight - must have picked it up on my fillings through the time vortex. One of my prize pieces of vinyl yet, alas, no turntable to play it on right now. Thanks so much for making this available on KZread. This music does bring great peace. I can sleep now. Cheers.

Don't forget Cluster, they are every bit as important and essential as Eno-just not the household names.

Don't give Brian Eno all the credits! The Cluster-guys were highly responsible for the sound Brian could not make at his own at the time..

Some people mention drugs in the comments and I'm no stranger to that but isn't Eno's music making music seem like drugs as much as possible? Altering reality or our perception as such..
