This culture does not really value women, especially daughter-in-law. FL took the abuse, and everyone got comfortable in the cycle of taking FL for granted. When the FL had 1 mo th to live she realised she didn’t want to spend her last weeks being mistreated and ignored. The kid was a spoiled brat, the ML just cared about himself. At least half the drama was the ML progress of appreciating the FL and step-by-step trying to win his wife back. Not bad 🙂

What's sad about this drama is his mother. This man is fighting so hard to save his marriage and family. Yet his mother is wrapped arm the mistress's finger and is obsessed with trying to control this man's life. As he and his wife said, that family was made for the mistress. The mother has let the mistress control her and is letting her control the family. I mean, who really is that woman's child. Her son or the mistress. Clearly not her son, since she doesn't care how he feels and just wants to control him. As the man said, because of the mistress's family kindness he tried to do the best thing. They invited her into their home and yet she tries to destroy his marriage, and his family, and brainwash and control his mother? I mean, his mother already doesn't like his wife, yet the mistress wants to add fuel to the fire and make things worse?

Enjoyed this version of the plot. 2nd time seeing this plot and it was done really well. The whole cast was great. Nothing like a FL who have no more effs to give, and with a complete ending...on to the next!!!

I loved it when the Fl told the Ml , I have my own brother, like you have Anna when he accused her of cheating, and she agreed to the divorce. The ml's mother used her as a servant, disrespecting her, and letting the live in other woman and even her son disrespect her. Unlike other dramas, the Ml was unaware of the mistreatment of his wife and believed her rather than the other woman. I do wonder why the obsessed girl was in their home after she had married still trying to wreak havoc. It was on point when the son said to his grandmother, you're possessed by evil spirits, when she finally accepted the Fl and apologized. After all the drama, it was great that the Ml and Fl reconciled.

I hate that mil, she's vicious and prejudiced. Even though she 'changed' at the end, she doesn't deserve respect as an 'elder'

This is indeed the 2nd Version, the other Version was starring Wang Yi Ran as the ML. This was unique in itself but nevertheless I got some grievances with it : 1.This ML found out that the SFL paid some Waiter to drug the FL and eventually SA her but he didn't ship them off to Prison? 😏 2. The SFL pushed the FL down the Stairs and still didn't go to Prison for attempted Murder? 😮This lady clearly had 9 Lives like the mythical Cat 😂😂 3. The ML didn't immediately change the living arrangement after the FL expressed her grievances and left, he still let the SFL and his mother stay with him in the same House? 😏 4. It took the FL a misdiagnosis for her to finally grow a Backbone and stop being a pushover? And still she let that MIL and SFL talk to her anyhow? 😏 5. The ML didn't immediately go on the FLs defences, he was at the beginning too slow for my liking 😩. 6. What happened to Mr. Lu, I liked him best especially when he be calling the FL jiějie 😂😂. 7. That MILs apology was bull, how can she ship all the blame on the SFL as if she's a kid letting herself get misled by someone else? 😏 She should have grovelled more 😅. Anyhow it was an OK watch, I know the ML emotionally abused the FL, but the FL in my opinion got time to heal and decided that she still loved the ML so forgiving him unlike other CDramas where the ML is emotionally, physically, mentally, sexually abusive is forgiven, I found justified and was happy that he got his wife back at the end. And those who might be wondering why she left to go abroad, she left because she was tired of MLs mum and wannabe side Chic and Mr. Lu told the ML to clean up the mess that was his Family before he even considered getting the FL back. Cheers mates 🤗

This was a nice drama. The script was adapted to give enough tension without the large amounts of physical and sexual abuse. 95% is verbal abuse and mostly at the beginning.

Am I the only one who noticed the mahjong tiles were dropped on the floor and when the husband showed up, all the mahjong tiles were neatly arranged on the table. LOL!😂😂😂 The crazy mother-in-law tries to stop the daughter-in-law from leaving if she goes out and does not come back. The daughter-in-law should have responded, I am happy leaving this hell house and will not come back. LOL🤣🤣🤣 A woman needs to keep her beautiful look, especially in marriage to keep your husband in line. Never look like a boring, servant housewife. Otherwise, your husband will get tired and will find an interesting mistress.

This is the second version I have seen in 48 h. It this one is WAY less toxic. The other version I saw had not only the evil mistress and abusive harpy of a mother-in-law but also the FL’s own daughter spent half the drama hating her, the FL’s own parents and brother abused her. And the FL died in the end-because she actually did have cancer. I think this version is micu h less toxic. (Although I wanted to see the evil mistress in prison and the bitch mother-in-law slapped across the face as many times as she abused the FL). I’m wondering if this is the latest script that we are going to be seeing over and over with different versions.

I just love hiw in all thise dramas they can fall asleep in 2 second flat. Wish i could do that.

He is a dog and she is a bone and all he cares about is someone else taking what he believes should be his! The lesson should be you snooze you loose.
