Probably one of my favorite videos from you. Please do more of this. Mid day relaxing activities for the win.
My mom and I went there last week and decided to do it "late" as opposed to "early" like we usually have. It was AWESOME! I know it will vary but we were there June 27th. We arrived about 1:00 p.m. Parked in Toy Story lot, plenty of empty parking! We were the ONLY people on the bus to the park. ZERO line to scan into Disneyland. Zero line at security. We stayed until park close, so we got in a solid 11 hours, and it was great. We were able to walk on several rides after the fireworks, from 10 to midnight! We also avoided a few of the hot hours of the day and the intense sun. 10/10 would do it that way again! (If you have never been there, I would recommend rope drop, but if you have been before and want a more leisurely experience, I'd recommend how we did it.)

Wensday!?!? 🤔
I've always loved going on the Columbia at Disneyland. When I was a kid, and still now, I love exploring all of the little rooms below deck.
I do enjoy the Disneyland band. They are the best I have heard and their performances are excellent. Superior musicians!
Last time I was there I caught the BootStrappers on the Columbia. Was pretty cool!

David on a first name basis…with the monorail. “Hey, Red!”❤
This was such a soothing video to me, the music of all the shows and rides you chose was so nice. I joke that one day I would like to move to Disneyland, and when I do 🤣 I’ll spend my days like this! I loved how you demonstrated how to make a relatively crowded time period relaxing and magical.
I love the live experiences in Disneyland. I especially like the Theater in Fantasyland, it's always hilarious. And green army patrol is my favorite thing at DCA!
From all the times I have gone to Disneyland, we have learned a few things and one of those is that you don't go to Peter Pan in the morning go about late morning early afternoon the rush is gone and lunch is going down that is usually when we would hit it or early evening before second wave comes. We also would eat in the off hours so usually had no trouble finding tables. But we always had our afternoon ice cream to around 2;30-3:00 as less people because of the parade which is another good time to hit some rides

I love these strategy videos! I have a big trip to Disneyland in 3 weeks and I'm so excited! I'm joining you in love for autopia! I love that ride so much! It's my childhood! Thank you David!
Dave, I told my colleague to keep and eye open for you last week at the park and they found you! You graciously took a picture with her and her husband. Thanks for all you do for your fans! ❤
This was great. Thanks for braving PP for us!
I too enjoy Autopia every single time. As a kid I was happy to drive and as an adult I love the scenic drive. ❤
We love the Casey's Train! I think it's a very underrated ride. You get a nice breeze and view of the area, view of the Storybook boats, etc. My mom is 78 and I'm in my late 50s and we both love that ride! :)

This itinerary type video was really interesting. It would be fun to see this type of video for certain types of families/groups (young families, older familier with bigger kids/teens, etc)
Nice, chill, video. Just what the Dr ordered. Thanks, David.
This was great thank you! Do another one like this but with a different plan! My son loved it because he loves lists 😄
Hey fresh bake I like watching your KZread channel. I like going to Disneyland one of my favorite places to go to.
i LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the vibe of these videos... i kinda want to see you do an "afternoon then dinner" at Disneyland - like a 2pm to 6ish, then finding dinner - i don't know what shows/fireworks are available around that time. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into videos. We really appreciate you!!
Love this! Great topic for a video!
I like what your doing with this video. I've followed your rope drop videos and man oh man they work. The only problem I found was when I worked through the morning till around 10:30 I didn't know what I wanted to do afterwards because my focuse was on the morning run. This opens up so many other ideas. Funny how it seems like it's so easy why didn't I think of that. Now, between this and eating my way through Disneyland or California Adventure my day will flow a lot easier. Thanks!
Dave, you have taught me to slow down and really soak in everything Disneyland has to offer, and I love it. Another great video, thanks. 😊
39:18 that interaction between the little girl & I presume her mom is priceless.
Thank you for making this kind of video. Admittedly I'm so zeroed in on ride attractions that I forget about all the other "magic" of Disney, like the parades, bands, and chiller rides. This is a good reminder when my family and I go in August. I've always wanted to go on a ride vehicle on Main Street and I've never been on the Columbia. Adding them to the list!
that was awesome video love you fresh baked
the way everyone flinches at the cannon on the columbia is so relatable 😆
OK this popped up right while I was looking at my phone and I'm totally trying to be first comment because you give the best information. 😎🌴
Hey David, can you make a rope drop video for Disney with all of the closures? I'm going in August and I was originally going to go Space Mountain first but now I might do Matterhorn, Big Thunder, then Indiana

This is what I did for my BD last year. Caught shows and moseyed. Daughter joined at 6ish and we ate dinner....at Tiana's...LOL
I'd love to see a Disney dining on the budget video!! 😊
We were on the Columbia with you. My son is the one that recognized you just couldn’t remember from where 😂 which is why he stared at you so long.
My Dad's favorite rides when he went to Disneyland were Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan and Autopia in that order. If he could get all three then he was a happy camper for him for the rest of the day.
Was at Disneyland over the 4th. Disneyland is different when there is little to no magic keys. Great tip for 4th fireworks. Get the first dining package for fantastic, stay for the fireworks, head towards galaxy edge go to fantasyland and get inline for Casey Jr. by the time you get off Casey jr all the crazy traffic will be cleared. Also for 4th fireworks fantasyland stays open. They don’t shoot any fireworks from the castle.
Back in the day I'd do a rope drop by going in at around 8 am, then sit in one of the shops drinking coffee and doing a puzzle book, then when the rope dropped I'd go directly to the Matterhorn, get in virtually right away, the hit Alice in Wonderland ( which is right beside it,) and then go down for Splash mountain. It worked well, but this was quite a few years ago.
Look at you doing an ad whilst driving autopia. Genius 😂
FreshBaked. David, it's nice to see how things at Disneyland change but they also stay the same. The Bootstrappers performing on Royal Street at 10:30 in the morning. Well it would be here at the same time of the day but many, many years ago you would find the "Royal Street Bachelor's" in the exact same spot. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Hey Fresh Baked!!
I saw a youtube Video of the Main Street Electrical Parade in 2017 and they Filmed it at Small World...they stood closer to the enterance of the parade right in front of the Huge Clock on Small World.
Great video because *most people* arrive at this time.
35:39 all red cars lol
My family was the one standing next to you (and your surprisingly tiny camera) in the shade while you filmed the bootstrappers. We definitely had the same idea as you, we had just finished our “rope drop” experience. Hope it was ok I just waved it feels weird talking to people you recognize from KZread haha.

We said Hi to you at the Main Street Station as we were wrapping up our Railroad Guided Tour. The dinosaurs were not cooperating so they shut the train down for a bit.
Can you do a 10-3 video for someone that likes to go go go ALL day after rope drop. We only come a couple times a year so go hardcore all day for 3 days 😂
I think a ride recon of the DLR is in order.. haha
It's crazy that no one was down below on the Columbia.

Great video! I have a request for a future video, I was recently a guest at the new Pixar Place Hitel and so we got to use the early entry privileges into the parks & one thing that I hadn’t really realized is that you’re not actually allowed to go to just any ‘ol ride you want. That was disappointing to not be able to go to Galaxy’s Edge before all the Rope Droppers showed up 30 min later. The Early Entry privilege is for hotel guests only and we get to enter the park 30 min before Rope Drop. It would be so helpful if you gave us tips on what plan of action we should try. What rides we’re allowed to ride, etc

nice to see Micky and Friends but I feel sorry for the people in the costumes wearing them in hot weather they must be sweatng inside of them...........a interesting way how you enjoy the park......I never was on a schedule....I just went where I wanted to go..........being on a schedule is not for me.
When I tried the shrimp and grits at Tiana’s, it was not edible. I threw it away. I was very disappointed, maybe the food is hit and miss there. Not sure I will ever try Tiana’s again, it was the worse thing I have ever had at Disneyland. I loved the shrimp and grits at cafe Orleans but I guess they don’t serve it anymore.

The rides don't change, the food does not change, the characters do not change. How can you keep up with the enthusiasm after all these years?.
