Absolutely agree! The mythic fancy story peddled time and again by the Remoaners is that the UK cannot survive, let alone, prosper outside the EU. Actually all of their arguments are based on this simple premise. Then how can they explain America, China and Australia doing well and actually prospering outside the EU? Simple as that. They're hopelessly deluded.

@@JohnRocheactions2success So what's the compromise? It's easy. Remainers sign up for the EU. Leavers sign up for the opposite. Remainers get EU passports with EU rights. Leavers get blue passports with no rights. Then we tell HMRC. That 80 bn a year cost gets shared out between remainers. Leavers get an 80 bn a year tax cut shared out between them. It's about consent. Remainers are rightly in my opinion right to be pissed off about being forced out against their will. Leavers were also rightly pissed off at being forced to fund remainers wants without the benefits. So they voted no. But remainers didn't give a toss about that when they got their way. So how about you and other remainers paying all the bill and getting all the advantages? Leavers get their tax cut (and laugh their heads off)

The leave voters are not a monolithic group in this regard and some who were looking for a deal from Brussels will be completely turned off from a prospect of a no deal brexit. The numbers on the last referenda were so marginal that brexit without any ambiguity will result in a loss for no deal.

Either the region is declared autonomous and it remains in the EU or it joins the Republic and it remains in the EU. Until then, the issue will not change and May's deal will remain the only viable option or Brexit is outright cancelled...

Hi there, I believe the conservative must think very carefully. They need to change the arithmetic in the house of parliament and the only way to change this is to call a general election. Tory will regain the electorate if they call general election. They have to call a general election then they will be coalition in the parliament between Tories and Farage and DUP. As now Labour leavers members have understood that Corby is not a leaver has he said on the previous general election.

It will not matter what Conservative or Labour member take control. The Brexit Party will be breathing down their necks. Listening to some of the comments today I observed that people outside the Conservative party will be consulted. It is very clear that the Brexit Party will be involved in these discussions along with others perhaps UKIP LIB/DEM. Getting back to Boris there is no doubt that Boris would pull some of the grass roots of the Conservative Party together. To say other wise is folly. However have the Conservatives the sense to do this. One has to ask the question however would it be enough? Two years form an election. The EU elections are extremely important it will shape things on down the road and scare others. When the writing is on the wall it changes things and people. Already people that were remain, are now not ruling a no deal. politics of course.

Northern Ireland, and the complexities of its key relationship to Brexit (and the related impact of the DUP’s agreement for Brexit), haven’t gone away. Mrs May couldn’t square that circle; the likes of Nigel Farage and BoJo and Mogg and all do their damndest to ever, Ever discuss the North and the DUP, but if A Deal/Agreement is to be obtained - thus preventing economic and political mayhem in Northern Ireland, and simultaneously making it easier for Britain as a whole to somehow start working out new global trade arrangements from scratch - then The Riddle ofThe North must be solved. May and her government had three years to do, but failed despite endless attempts. Now, what can her successor do within a few short months? No wonder all the grandstanding wannabe-PMs are doing their damndest to avoid discussing the Border problem...

Is never going to happen - after 3 years of each side feeling trashed by the other. Whereas, a general election approaches the problem obliquely, thus avoiding the emotional effects of the sad state of mutual distrust. Cometh the election, cometh the Leader.
